can i JUST replace the iphone 5 glass? The fixer said the glass LCD digitizer come with one,and its 500$.

It is not easy to just replace the glass thus most repairers replace the full set. Price range from 200++ - 500++ depending on where you get it fixed and the quality of the screen.

Hey guys I just bought a new refurbished iphone 4s.

I have a few problems.

1st, is that my iphone won't connect to my PC. It says USDB device not recognized eventhough I have updated to the latest itunes.

2nd is that my iphone won't charge... It charges without the charge sign and is slow like tortoise. Maybe 1% every 30 minutes. Help me please as I urgently need to use this phone.

Since it's a new refurbished set, does it have any warranty that comes with it? If yes send back to the shop.

If no, try getting the charging/sync dock flex replaced.

It does have a year warranty.

And also whenever i go to message it says MMS Messaging requires your phone number. I don't really understand what it means. I thought the moment I put my sim card in, my phone can automatically detect my number?

If that's the case, better you bring back to the shop and show them the problems that you are facing. If send to other techs during the warranty period they will void the warranty.

Hello, i cant activate my iphone after update it says

This looks like a locked set. Which model is it? Try check which carrier and country its locked to.

It's iPhone 4 , jailbreak before , locked after update, checked with apple what carrier it was Bell , Canada ... Wtf...

You bought it second hand? Earlier would have used software unlock by jailbreaking to use the phone.

All Malaysian set (Telco & apple ) are official unlock sets. If its a new set probably the shop would have sold you a locked set.

How to solve locked set?

If you have upgraded to 7.1.2 there is no longer solution to unlock using jailbreak or turbo sim for iphone 4. The only way is to factory unlock or permanent unlock.

How and where can i do that?

You can check service noticeboard section for service provider.

It can factory unlock but will not cheap..
