U know rite if the motherboard problem..the cost for replacement might be >rm1k..;( I better buy a new one....anyway I did fresh restore again today..the gps is now functioning..only problem with network searching and the display got light dot when I see from left and right..do u think this iPhone got water damaged? I also notice the camera got 1 dusty dot in the middle...

3problems:
1)display got dim dot like stars when I see from left&right..
2)camera lens got dusty dot in the middle
3) network keep searching..however I was able to activate the phone after do fresh restore

Suspecting this iPhone its open up before. If the screen can see like cloud then prolly its water dmg. As stars? hard to say maybe just backlight problem at the corner.

My iphone 5 sometime will auto turn off and restart by itself.. sometime very frequent such as keep restart 5 to 6 times continuously but sometime it will restart once a week only.. I already used the phone for 21 months and this problem start happened since the second month..
I didnt send back for warranty is because i bought it from singapore..
As what i suspect, it should be either motherboard or battery issues.. May i know, is there any shop that can help me diagnose? how long it normally took and how much is the cost to diagnose?

Have you tried restoring your device? If it doesn't solve than try replacing battery. Price for battery can cost anywhere below rm100 - rm200++ depending where you fix it and what quality parts are used.

If the above 2 still doesn't help,than its prolly the logic board. Repairing logic board depends on what component on the board is faulty. You can check in services noticeboard section in this forum to find a reliable repairer located near you.

I have a problem with iphone 5 lightning connector, the connection is no good anymore. The lighting cable have to be adjust to certain angle otherwise it is not possible to charge my iphone 5. I have test my lightning cable with other iphone 5(s), confirm cable no problem.

The charging dock should be loose. You need to replace that. Price should be 80 - 100++ depending on where you get it fixed.
