On which? The GNex or GNote? on GNex I left it running, it is clever enough to swap around the apps with the available system resources to not require me to do so. On GNote, I have to.

I used "3" by RockOn for my music player. And used the built in iPod Player on my iPhone 4S. On pure analog via the standard headphone jacks using my walk-around headphones the Beyerdynamics DT1350, it sounds the same when plugged into the iPhone 4S. Both devices are more apparent on the treble side, listening to "The Look of Love" by Diana Krall at 320kbps. This is when both are set at stock DSP config.

They sound relatively the same as well, when I switched to the Denon AH-2000, although the iPhone has the slight advantage when it comes to clarity and "fullness" of the sound.

I don't use IEMs as I don't feel comfortable using them. I ditched standard earbuds long time ago.

Of course, when you switch to external DAC, the iDevice wins hands down. I have the Headamp Pico external amp/DAC and connected via ALO LOD from the dock connector from the iPhone/iPod for pure unaltered digital transmission to the Pico, post-processed there and then fed to a proper headphones, that is the ultimate portable configuration I can find without adding more bulk. Only applicable to those who have their audio collections at high enough bitrate or uncompressed. Which is why, to me, the ultimate combo is still my iPod Classic 160GB + Headamp Pico + ALO LOD + DT1350(portable)/AH-2000(listening at home). IF you go analog like from headphone jack on the phone/device to headphones, it's gonna sounds relatively the same to me, when you compare between same-class listening equipment.

I can't comment much on IEMs, so I have no idea how it sounds on that when paired with the GNex. With my DT1350, it sounds as lovely as it is on my iPhone 4S.

I bought my Gnex few days ago, from directd in subang.
And I guess it's my purchase that allow directd to drop it to 2499.
I bought it when he is just changing it to 2699. And when their staff asked, I said "I know the price one lar, 2899 ma."
But in real time if I care to checked his post, it would be 2699, stupid me.
But nonetheless, no regrets. I've been waiting for this, and I wouldn't mind it.

Review:
Experience: HTC Desire, Desire Z, Flyer, Aria, Samsung Tab P1000, S2 non g.
Stock Launcher is smooth as baby skin.
Root it at the first chance I have, which is 2 hours after purchase.
Fully charged it, flash with android revolution HD.
Bought battery monitor widget, follow web recommendation, chrarge full, drain full, rinse and repeat.
I'm now at 3rd cycle, and I believe I can accurately say this, Super AMOLED Sucks.
The phone is perfect for me, no question to that. But the screen sucks battery like water.
This phone, in my opinion, is just like Gnote's gsmarena battery test.
Without screen on, eg. on standby, on phonecall is good
With screen on, Web browsing, game, facebook, work (mine is gmil, excel, ftp, camera), it plain sucks battery.
Maybe it's dualcore, maybe it's Super AMOLED ( G2 non g shares the same thing, but I only played with it 2 days before handing it to my gf)
My other phone, Desire (AMOLED) , Desire Z (Super LCD),  Aria (Cheapo LCD?), battery drain doesn't gimme the feel of sucking, literaly.
But the battery issue is there, definitely.
I have 2 choix charger, one 2700, one 5000 on standby just for this phone.
Go figure~~

I've been using "Phase Beam" live wallpaper, with TV Fav stack widgets, Pulse widget, Palmary Weather Pro widget, Twitter widget  and apps shortcuts on the phone and I don't see any lag.

Just got back from sg, they don't have screen protecter yet, searched only in sim lim.
And I'm using digi roaming with starhub 3g, mobile data status on, but no connection almost 50% of the time, maybe it's a starhub thing?
when I'm using maps in sg town, with all the 3d building, I notice some graphic artifacts, phone is in charging state, screen on all the while, map running, and battery temp reach 50 celcius. CPU orGraphic chipset overheat issue?

i had no problem with maxis roaming on the RM33 data roaming package. was only there for a day - on Friday. No issue using direct from phone or tether to tablet.

It is only a month away ; potential buyers will be happy probably with a lower price versus present AP prices

Worldwide..?? I dont think there'll be 32GB on GNex except maybe for US in LTE version only.
