Black Spidey: @SSC (Domestic shipping) USD 209.99 (- USD 10.5 reward points) = 199.5 USD = RM632 (cheaper than some local retailer's price)

Isn't it tax free to import toys into Singapore? and that's why Singapore is usually cheaper?

Flat tax of 5% in Singapore (I think)... and 10% in Malaysia....

Correction, Singapore is 7% GST... so not that far off....

not really... from past years, spore pricing always higher than msia (at least for HT yes)...
but 2011, msia retailer HT POP pricing getting close to spore retailer HT POP and now higher...

It used to be 15%.... 10% sales 5% duty....

They cut the 5% duty in 2011..... but I suppose kastam being more thorough (cannot escape), hence there is increase in retail even with reduced taxes.

Don't go and buy one whole suit case back la of cos but these things kinda see your luck. Sometimes airport personnel malas let you walk through only but they usually check if you bring back cartons.

But if you do get caught, you are liable to be taxed but can "kau tim" wan la.

Experience (regarding 1/6): Most new products available are for PO-ed only.... displayed but belong to somebody
or at (severely) marked-up price.

Bargains .... depends on luck and timing I suppose....

..... unless those over produced/unpopular ones like DX05, Mk.5, NewGoblin, Alice... still in-stock in ToyHunter.

You cannot even buy the recent EB's releases from EB store....

Regarding Tax.... personal properties .... are not taxed.

So VIP... is HKD1287 (RM526) without exclusive and HKD 1430 with.
