Nowadays, some new prop have fancy names like North Kiara, Cyber South, Bangsar South, KL East etc.

In my more humble opinion, dengkil town is not much future because :-

1. Cyberjaya itself is able to supply a big number of studio, soho, condo and apartments.

  The knowledge workers wouldn't like to stay in dengkil afraid jatuh standard.

  The students wouldn't stay there because lack of transport.

2. For the same reasons Xiamen Uni the students will find dengkil town residential too far. It will require them to have own transport.

  Furthermore nearby there will be abundant supply of residential coming up in Kota Warisan. It maybe walkable to Xiamen Uni or otherwise, there will likely be bus shuttle services right into the campus.

Translation? 

Wah lau...dengkil can buy meh??

With UiTM & Xiamen development I would say it'll somehow boost Dengkil economy, but why I don't see any project for shoplot, foodcourt or commercial unit nearby? food business should be good if got a lot of student and new housing

Actually Dengkil just a small town only & might be quarter of Putrajaya. 
- North of the town Dengkil is bordered with Cyberjaya / Putrajaya
- Western areas leading to Bukit Changgang - Olak Lempit - Banting still many oil palm plantations and kampung.
- East areas, mostly malay reserve kampung and land - Jenderam Hilir and Hulu, Kg Sg Buah - Sg Merab - Bangi
- Southern - bordered with Kota Warisan ( KLIO, Xiamen U, ERL, IOI, Sime, Glomac, KIP - townships ) Salak Tinggi, KLIA, Sepang, Nilai.
