Ok I tested this on Checkrom 3.1.1 + Siyah 2.4 and it is working!

The effect is awesome, just like the iPhone's one which I really missed to be honest Thanks for sharing!

PS: flashing the kernel might revert the change I think, remember to flash this after any kernel flashing if yours is not working..

cool!!!!!!!!!! only problem I see now is the CRT effect somehow got inverted but dun care lol

Thanks bro, but I have tried with another friend's sim card, and also tried my sim card in another phone. Today I got a new sim card from Maxis (bodoh bodoh accidentally swapped my friend's sim card and he managed to lock my whole sim card by pressing his PIN/PUK...), that doesn't work either, so most likely phone. Thanks, will try Imbi plaza then.

Re-flashed my HyperDroid with full wipe doesn't solve =( Also tried flashing modem-only, no fix. Looks like I got no choice but to go back to Samsung.

Anyone else got better idea? If not I will do it soon.

Why i cant set mp3 as a ringtone after a flash to checkrom? previously put the mp3 in sdcard/media/audio/ringtones and the mp3 will pop out when i want choose ringtone in setting ~~ now it fail to show out ~~ any idea what happen?

I just feel very EMO..
But then, life goes on..

I felt cheated for one reason..
I did the Antutu Benchmark any times..
And only once a while it will state 1200MHz...

Other than that..
Its only 1008MHz..
Means that if somebody ask you what is your CPU speed..
We should tell them 1GHz..
Because most of the time it will not go above 1GHz...

So now, its 1GHz, dual core..

Benchmarks is only numbers. the important thing is the user experience.

low benchmarks and no lag operation is better than high benchmarks but lag.

Got people purposely underclock to 500Mhz all the time to save battery.... and notice no performance hit! So you get more battery than us non-g users without doing any tweaking... now i feel cheated hmph!

use music player. play and tap the menu button on the left of the home button and set as

it doesn't always go to 1200MHz on my non-G also but it's soooooooo minor i barely notice it until you mentioned it.

it's really no biggie still a great phone regardless

charging while sleeping is no problem unless you're using cheap 3rd party batteries

betterbatterystats monitors your processes and tells you what is going on even while the screen is off (as i understand it)
