3g network on sgs2 is not as good as an usb modem?
when i using usb modem provide by maxis (free) i was able to get wcdma to hsdpa connection
but when put on the phone only able to opbatin gprs connection?

Yes you cannot rename it. It will fail md5 checksum if you rename it.
