Non G got no 2.3.5 officially in Malaysia. Only way is to flash other countries rom or custom rom.

for G user...do u guys noticed that when the screen is on, the red LED will on but very dim...?

I have a question. If I enable Data Plan Network and WiFi at a same time, which way my browsing data will go to? It's quite inconvenient if I always needed to disable Data Plan while I am with WiFi.

sygic or papago or google maps now let you cache their maps but cant search, also Garmin for android and ipong is in development

I have both the G and non-G in my house. They both perform identically. Both can be rooted with CWM. Both can play all the apps and videos. The G-version has crazy battery life. Consistently longer than my non-g.

All the hype and comparison is just blowing stuff out of proportions. Can anyone here honestly tell me that you can feel the difference between a few points difference in any of the benchmarking programs?

The PowerVR GPU was way ahead of it's time in the Galaxy S1. So now when they use it here people throw fits. It still has much better compatibility than the non-g's Mali400. It is like comparing Nvidia to ATI. ATI has better hardware but Nvidia has better drivers. But both are equal in real world performance.

Although the G model does not heat up fast, and got 2 years warranty, as compared to the no-G model..
But I still feel cheated by Samsung...
I thought I had bought the best phone last month... =D
But only when I look at the box of the samsung at the back of the box..
I feel cheated and stupid..
