Thanks bro for the offer, but don't really need something that fancy. Really appreciate the thought and offer though.

I have a multi-function meter produced by Carmate Japan that I can get for you at RM100 the next time I go to Taiwan. Very nice features for a LMST.
It shows time, date & year, inside & outside temperature, and your voltage as well. Can connect the wires to your starter, so each time you turn on your car, it will display, sort of like your dashboard.
That way, you still have your cigarette slot for other usages.

QUOTE(Codyx @ Mar 28 2012, 01:28 AM)
If you drive in FAST LANE obeying the speed limit let's say 80kmph but your front is clear of traffic yet your rear has traffic waiting for you, then by morally you are not considerate enough. No matter u obeying the speed limit  or what because you can masuk into slow lane and proceed.

If you are in the MIDDLE LANE driving constantly 80kmph obeying the limit, traffic in front and rear is not your bother as they have 2 lanes to take overs. BUT, you have to watch out for incident because you have to sides to monitor like motorist and other cars as well you know what i mean.

If you are in the SLOW LANE obeying the rules driving 80kmph and you are steady for the speed, ignore other cars trying to make you change your mind

does this clear up alil' bit bros?

If you buy from ebay, it would cost you about rm50-60. Led display type with distance.
Obviously you'll have to diy but it's not difficult just need patience.

I guess rm150 incl labor is reasonable maybe slightly above average (cannot get rm120-130?)

Just checkd, wow, only about rm40 after conversion, but no display. Display not needed in my opinion.

my 99/00 iswara didn't come with power steering, but now it has smile.gif so you can't really judge by year either smile.gif

QUOTE(AlexLee277 @ Apr 16 2012, 03:38 PM)
how about judging by year? the normal iswara.

for example, 2000-2003 Iswara (non lmst/lmss) or 2001-2003... hehe something like that  thumbup.gif

ask seller to meet you at mechanic place and let him check. mechanic obviously should be someone you trust or you go to regularly. alternatively, look for another one without suspicious issue.

what is the reason for getting the car anyway, if it's just for rough use, a bit of smoke don't bother lah just press down the price another 1.5k maybe tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

http://www.mudah.my/Saga+iswara+front+wipe...4626.htm?last=1

http://z4.invisionfree.com/Saga_Iswara_Clu...showtopic=34244 ->open up the wiper motor and grease it

update: i just diy to grease the wiper motor, can feel it's better! try it, very simple, just remove the 3 screws, then spray inside with grease.

QUOTE(Lowenkreuz @ Apr 22 2012, 09:47 AM)

lift up the wiper (off the windscreen) and see if it can move? if it can, then motor ok but probably very old/worn out hence when it has to wipe with resistance (on the windscreen), it doesn't have enough power. maybe try diy open motor casing and grease it? (or is it safe to use wd40?)

if still no good, maybe time to change motor... smile.gif

QUOTE(andychai910904 @ Apr 22 2012, 03:14 PM)

I wouldn't recommend manual in KL traffic either!!!! smile.gif

that's the thing, our iswaras are not worth much - but yet it's the cheapest to maintain so it is an excellent 2nd or 3rd car. last year trade in offered i think 3k or so only, at that price, better keep that's why i fixed it up smile.gif but if really need to look for a smaller nimble car, then probably need to let this go don't have so much space to keep cars... no PMs yet so prob no one interested or looking, then i can continue to diy and mod with everyone here smile.gif

considering the honesty, if your car is auto and willing to let go cheap, i'd consider this for my sister who is looking for a car to travel between work/home.

don't think she's willing to drive manual as do i, lol KL traffic.

2.5 years is good! Speaking of batteries, just to share icon_idea.gif

user posted image

About RM15, fits very nicely and now I can see the batt voltage to monitor state of the battery and alternator smile.gif Hopefully this will give me some early warning before battery wants to kaput smile.gif

QUOTE(cyanboy @ Apr 23 2012, 10:30 PM)
Okay, didn't realize is that good... Lol.

Is NS70 that huge? Luckily I didn't direct take NS70, I was scared of it being undercharge and damage prematurely. If scare corrosion probably MF can do the job... Even if it leaks, its only leaking on the top part of battery. Probably corroding the sticker on top only and the battery holder.
