Which kind of armor did u enchant on it?
I only managed to enchant my armor and gloves.

basically its like this.

no 1 & 2
say you have all type of soul gem and you soul trap a bear(common soul)
the soul will go to the appropriate empty gem first(common).
if it is not available, it will search for the next larger empty soul gem(great,greater or grand).

no 3
the thing is, as previously mention above. the soul will go to the next higher level empty soul gem
if there is none of the same size available.
for eg say you capture a wolfy soul(petty) and you have only greater & grand gem that is empty.
your greater soul gem will be filled with petty soul which is a waste of money cuz u cant do topup
once a soul is filled it will stay.
so reasons for the warning is just a caution so that you dont accidentally filled a grand with petty soul.
but if u keep track of how many & what size of empty gem you have then u got no problem

ah kk dude. My mistake is that i didnt know that soul gems will be destroyed after being used to recharge an item. On that wolf thingy for a grand gem. You can drop the grand gem and pick it up again.

u know, only once has my injectors gone on - and thats because i kept alt-tabbing. Most of the time it doesnt. Its supposed to auto on when u run the game innit ?
