Wta, saw a few post on lens 1.8 G or 1.8 D. What the "G" & "D" means? newest and older model?

Its the Nano coat .  She's always using my 50mm f/1.8D... and complaining about it being too tele... and also at f/1.8 not sharp enough :S, she steps down to f/2.8 most of the time... then I kept quiet... she asked for opinions then of course la I said the 35mm f/1.4G 

also do help me ask a bit on clean aperture blade charge how much ah.
my little 35mm f2D got problem on aperture too stiff to close itself 

aiyo, if shooting wide open is necessary all the time then i don't complaint already
I want to shoot smaller aperture sometimes. 

50mm f/1.8D is a good lens for its price tag la... but when those bigger boys comes into picture... they have better performance, but the price/performance ratio not as good as the 50mm f/1.8D of course

Anyways.. I was wondering, why is it compact cameras can achieve higer f number without losing so much shutter speed?

I realized using digital camera much easier to take funny photos.. Example A stand nearer to camera and open mouth and B further away appear to be in the mouth (just made up random situation).. Normal PnS can take nicer while DSLR will.. either A or B super blur ._.

Cool. Even the soft toy's texture is smoothen. 

You sharpened the image? Artefact appearing o_O

Time for service, you don't want it to break down during your job but if you've a back up then its ok.

i duno how to handle this kind of situation...if the outside is super duper bright, but subject is under shade... 

ya just realized the sharpen tool is under the render option, not in the tool list there...i just found out

Thermal protection was not removed, it was 'improved' or rather modified.

SB900 - Flash performs as normal until overheat then cuts off
SB910 - Flash recycle rate decreases when overheat, thus making it able to last longer but recycle rate becomes longer. Same style as the 580EXII.

Conclusion, when you really need the flash recycle rate performance, the SB900 will come in handy instead of the SB910 which has slow down the recycle rate...

any suggestion of a cheap speed light for nikon?
