im not sure. but i think it doesnt matters anymore, if anything goes wrong, can just enter CWM recovery (vol up+ power) and choose restore. so odin is not necessary anymore

Added on December 8, 2011, 8:15 pmthe cwm is to backup ur rom and also to install those tweeks that is normally comes in zip format. the other two is just a tweak to increase performace/give better battery life. give it a try

what i like bout the backup is that they really backup the whole thing. that's why the size is around 400MB, so if anything goes wrong, u can enter cwm mode and restore it, everything will be back to just the way it is. no need to flash again using odin

u install feamod first, then do a nandroid backup before u flash feacore.

seems like line problem not phone. try to put ur sim into another phone and see

if u feel comfortable with stock rom u don't have to flash anything. is not a must to install cwm and custom rom, just like is not a must to root the device.

cwm is normally install as it provides easy backup, it will backup everything including ur apps and settings. u might say why need cwm when we have titanium or odin, well lets just say it saves u the hassle by a lot. other than that, cwm is also very useful to install those tweaks and custom rom.

as for custom rom, normally developers will do some system changes to phones. like u know when the phone rings, it will vibrate first, soft ringtone then only loud? some dev modifies these features so that when the phones rings it will straight plays ur ringtone at full volume like nokia phones, etc..
not only that, some of them tweak the phone system to give it faster (as in benchmark) performance.

if u are not like a hardcore geek or flashing maniac, I would say don't flash anything, because it saves u the time having to figure out what is what or why must do this before doing that, etc

download that to ur pc and extract it. root ur phone, install "root explorer" or astro file manager into ur phone. copy that config file into ur phone and use the file manager to copy it to the system, click yes if it ask for replace confirmation.

as i know samsung is not well known for its audio quality, even sgs2 while playing music there's no "feel". u should have gotta htc beats or something perhaps that is better.
or maybe there is a software to help make it better. since i don't listen songs anymore on phone so i don't bother much bout this..lol

lulz. i flash some kernal and that XXKPS performance rom, but now went back to stock liao..
and my system is so mess up lol.. baseband is from xxkps, kernal is custom kernal mix with ori, then version is our region version. but i dont care as long no wakelock
