Retail list price is RM5000. So even after a 30% discount, I've already factored in a RM500 depreciation for just 2months with my asking price of RM3000.

Ok, will try mudah too. Haha.

Thanks.
I would say this is a fair price. Good luck.

QUOTE(Diazepam @ Feb 28 2012, 04:39 PM)
Was gonna do that, but apparently I need 25 'quality' posts before I can put it up for sale.

I don't have the time to hound the boards just to accumulate that number of 'quality' posts, unfortunately. sad.gif

Guys, I'm looking for a skeleton automatic watch as a gift to my gf, with a budget around 400-700. Any brand or model in particular would you recommend?

Found this: http://www.amazon.com/Kenneth-Cole-Automat...=pd_sbs_watch_2

but its not really available in M'sia, is it? Also considered some of the different movements from smaller brands like those from China that is coming up, but even that is not easy to get..

Yea, I know KC is sold here tongue.gif , was referring to the model.. Will go check those places out! Or is there anything else that you might suggest?

I am kinda dissapointed in Tissot, as the one I bought for her already shown some issue just after 2 years of it.

I'm not sure about grey.. but I believe I saw the all white one same model. I thought it was a really good bargain at those prices and interesting (being all white).. it was sub 1k, but turns out to be too big for my wife.

Yeap, am not looking at a high end one, since she is not really a big watches person so KC or the likes should be decent enough for her.

She don't understand why I love my Orient Blue Mako so much sad.gif

at 4k and less for auto, only can go with online brand else quartz is the way to go. price wouldn't be that low as ML and FC has paid their dues in marketing.

Guinand is great value, online is the only way. didn't like the pricing of Sinn, Helmut Sinn come of retirement to give customers high quality watches at a very affordable price.

i checked out Guinand watches and I'm not really fond of their design, besides that their price range exceeds my budget... Ive come across this victorinox watch on other forums and I kinda like its design. What are ur views/comments on this? any idea on what the price is like in malaysia, its selling at around $1100 in amazon..

The watch looks disproportionate, especially the hands and pushers. Personally I don't like it.

Guys,

How do you keep your expensive watch? I am scare if the theif break in my house and take my watches. Though that is not so expensive as yours, but I believe thiefs are so desperate. They would grab anything that give money return to them even for RM10.

I am thinking of a safe box but wonder if it really safe. RM700-RM1500 safe box is just about 10-15kg where thief can bring them out of the house and break it at their place. Unless we are talking about 100KG safe box - this would definitely helps.

i get wat ur saying, I've got 3 watches only currently at less then 8k per piece each... How i keep them, i put them in a watch box and make sure whenever i go out i lock my windows and main door properly.. Its just not worth investing in a safe box if u don't many expensive watches.. Worst come to worst, get insurance for break in..
