Guys, you know what, my HD channels problem are all fixed! No more problem of HD channels disappearing often, it's really stable now. Some of you had recommended me to change the cable to RG6, well I didn't change it. I did intend to change it, but when I called to my friend's friend to come take a look (this time wanna try someone who is not from Astro), someone who knows how to handle Astro problems, they said it must be something loose from the dish.

I told them this time just change the cable to RG6, they said well let's check the dish first before changing the cable and then ok, I let them adjust the dish. While adjusting it, the people on the roof said "wow why everything here so loose, what kind of people do this kind of job??". This really surprised me because I thought the second guy that Astro sent to fix it many days ago had already tightened it, like I had told you guys over here many days ago. But now I know it's again a loosely done job by the second guy.

So after everything was settled, all HD channels are really stable now. The friend who fixed it even stay for quite long time to check whether the problem still recurring or not. It's really really stable now. So I can make one conclusion, the first two guys the came to install and fix my Astro B.yond, are utterly useless and can go to F OFF. Do this kind of shitty service, might as well don't do it. Suppose to help people, but actually bring more problems.

I agree. Astro 1st is a waste for film industry & and also Astro bandwidth. Might as use Astro First HD1, HD2, HD3 bandwidth to improve HD channel bitrate.

Hehe... normal behaviour for me but not everyone have the same opinion. If DirecTV is available and installed in your home, can I cum to your house ? Ooops... correction... can I come to your house ?

hi guys, just wanna ask a few question. if subscribe to astro byond pvr, the pvr came with built in hard disk or, i need to buy separated external hard disk for it? AFAIK, only WD AV 320GB works with astro byond pvr decoder.

A celebration that falls on a special day,
This year which happens on a Sunday.

Especially when first of April is also a person's birthday.

Don't overdo it... is what one should daresay.

If hurting a friend's feelings is okay,
That special friendship may unfortunately decay.

For fun and laughter... simple tricks are okay,
So "life and death" tricks are not the correct way.

Just use simple fun tricks that everyone shouts hooray!
Because that special celebration is April Fool's Day !

I wrote the above short composition myself for April Fool's Day. Hope folks here like it. And I am sure many got "fooled". Its just for fun and laughter which we sometimes need in our everyday life. Just remember not to use nasty tricks that can possibly hurt your friend's feelings.

Luckily I escaped a few times today and did not become a fool. I will never so easily believe anyone on this day, hehe. I always pity my friend whose birthday is on 1st April so I will never play any trick on him.

If I posted here on 31-03-2012 that Astro will launch SyFy HD Channel 439 on 01-04-2012, will anyone believe me IF true ?

It's impossible to have nationwide takeoff if using fiber, unless you have one or two dozen contractors per district and willing to pump out ultra huge capital, and you keep constant pressure on the contractors to make sure they roll out fast and within days of signing up.

15 contractors only is a joke. No way 15 contractors can cover whole of Malaysia let alone Klang Valley.

Stupid thng is, MEASAT 1 and 2 is still up there. Just that both has been apparently given, rented or sold off to South Africa and renamed Africasat 1 and 2  

WTF gomen! That was suposed to be a national heritage! It even has a few groundbreaking features and world firsts!   

If MEASAT had just kept both, we'd have more bandwidth! But no! they apparently wrote the two off so Assteruk can play the "not enough bandwidth" card!

So, this is the best reason why should Astro should switch to MPEG4/H264 for all channels.

So, the next question is... Is Astrow beeyond HD channel bitrate as par as India HD channel?

Sounds like history is repeating itself. They still haven't figure out why assteruk is so popular (hint: Almost full coverage of Malaysia upon launch).

Already finished. If it's basic package pack is cheaper than Asstro, sure is good.
