It's watercooling so hell yes you need water in the system. laugh.gif

Once the system is primed and if you keep the res cover closed tight, water doesn't evaporate too much. With a larger res, you can possibly top up water once a year but every few months would be a more reasonable estimate

i think u can get system for 2.5k,the balance you can do watercooling like mine(check my work log)but u cant get nice barb, fitting, compresion, the tubing just do the job,but u need to add another RM30 for uv bye with distile water.to make color2..unless u want to run with plain water.see all sifu here their set up like mad,so nice..maintainance u just take care the water, make sure install tubing properly to prevent it leak.but for me there is no maintaince for long period if your installation good.but for me there is no maintainance but only got poison to upgrade,shiny2 barb, fitting lah,uv tubing, change color.want to do gc loop also..

3k is more than enough.
when it comes to topup, i think ur maintenance time is shorter than the refill time .

so, basically u'll be cleaning ur system before u topup ^^,

EK's old nickel plating (non-EN) method was claimed to have too thin nickel layer to provide adhesion on the copper layer. But it's solved with the new EN version so when u buy any EK nickel-plated wb make sure that u grab this EN. Anyway, I don't have this nickel flaking problem on my non-EN wbs though. HF + 2x FC-580GTX+ + MIVE block + Dom RAM block all plexi+Ni all okay. nod.gif
