I'm aware of that.. the base itself looks ok already, but those "stairs" looks a bit big for a 1/144

I haven't open up the plastic wrapper just yet, but judging by its looks, look almost as good as bandai.. doesn't feel cheap like those TT/GG

btw, just did a successful transformation of my Delta Plus.. the trasformation mechanism sure is fragile.. any less careful then surely you'll break something.. the Zeta Plus was waaaayy simpler

a little correction here.. those in Sg.Wang are on the 6th floor.. there are 2 hobby shops there, Litt Tak Hobby Center and Gamers Arena.. the price in Litt Tak Hobby Center are the same with those from shopping malls like Jusco, Parkson & ToysRus but sometimes they do have some sort of promo that sells off some kits at a price range that you can get from other competition hobby shops

as for the Gamers Arena, you have to walk around a bit, but it's not that far from Litt Tak Hobby Center.. the price is the same with the GA in TS, so there's nothing much to expect there since the one in TS have better variety (and stocks)

not necessarily.. some kits are cheaper in GT, while some other are cheaper in GA.. so "cheap" here is pretty relative, depends on what kit that you're looking for..

the price in TM is not that pricey, and again, depends on what kit you're looking for.. in some case, it is cheaper like the time when I got my MG Delta Plus @RM150 while other shops are selling for around RM160, and also my HGUC Jesta for RM57 while others are selling it for RM60+

true, true. it's your money so it's up to you how to spend it. just don't regret in the end of the day once you heard somebody else bought the same kit as yours a lot cheaper on the other shop lah

me too enjoys scouting a lot, regardless of whether I did or didn't have anything to buy that day. I admit there's a couple of times I myself made some impulse buys, but what bought is bought. just go on and build it or sell it off to somebody else (an example of what I've done before)

that.. just gave me an idea.. all I need now is the MG 00Q and the Lighting Base..

that is the main reason why I bought the Delta Plus..


btw just got myself the RG Freedom.. quick2 grab while the price is still RM85

yup.. maybe can check again if there's any leftover untrimmed nubmarks.. mine work out just fine, except for the part under the shoulder armor (that thin kinda sharp looking thingy) that pops off a couple of time during transformation process. took me about half an hour to completely change it to waverider mode compare that with just over 5 minutes for my MG Zeta Plus C1

imo the only fragile transformation part for Delta Plus are the arms/shoulders.. others are pretty rigid (and less wobbly compared the Zeta Plus), thanks to that additional strengthening part that need to put it while changing it to Waverider mode

that's one of the drawback for transformable kits. rigidity is sacrificed to enable all the transformation mechanisms

the proportions looks PG-ish I think the previous release (MB 00 Seven Swords) looks more like its MG counterpart.. or is it just me?

duh. it's 1/60.. of course it's big

the design is a lot sleeker compared to the 1st generation, but still have that boxy feeling though. maybe that's the design language for the AGE series

I'm with ascentic on this one (except for the gunpla shop visiting frequency)

most of the times I choose a kit solely on design/looks itself. complexity does taken into account sometimes, and if a kit looks too "crowded" it will significantly reduce my desire to get the kit (like the MG FA Unicorn) but if it's too plain, it'll look kinda boring (I'm still having a hard time choosing which version of MG RX-78-2 )

I don't watch that much Gundam anime series, and I started this hobby before actually watching any of the series. as a matter of fact, my first kit was the MG Exia and I bought it about half a year before getting to watch the Gundam 00 series. it's not what I would say a deciding factor, but looking on how cool/great it is in the anime, somehow adds the value of the kit itself

Added on January 3, 2012, 3:45 amnot every model are available in MG. whenever there's a new series/movie, the first thing that came out are the HG kits.. and of all the HG kits, only a few (most of the time hero/main protagonist unit are selected first) gets the MG treatment. this, of course wouldn't happen instantly. a certain model could "wait" for years before Bandai decided to release its MG kit

my choice was like 60% for OYW & 40% for Ver. Ka

v2.0 concentrates only on the inside, but sadly all the beautifully engineered mechanisms ended up being covered by the plain armor

nothing urgent here, and the RX-78-2 is not on my top list. but in any case I'm getting one, it'll be either the OYW or Ver. Ka. most probably the OYW
