RG parts so small that sometimes u might accidentally cut off something u shouldn't tongue.gif

my recent completed RG RX-78-2 without decal yet though. i did broke 2 parts and i use tamiya cement to glue it back and need to be extremely careful when posing it.

thankfully I didn't broke anything while building my RG Aile Strike laugh.gif

after reading comparison btw MG Unicorn OVA vs Ver Ka.... the only bad thing bout Ver Ka is the posture at the knee part. other than that, ver ka is supposedly much better in terms of color and decals. hmmm
*
then it's up to you.. if you're in for the looks, get the Ver. Ka.. for pose-ability and better articulations, go for OVA ver. nod.gif

Guys, anyone of you interested using miniature surface mount LED to mod gunpla? Normal LED is too big.. Alth there is smaller one.. But still consider big to slot in gunpla esp HGs

what are you suggesting? hmm.gif

those looks like need a special circuit board or something. and surely, some soldering. cannot just screw in using wires and connector blocks sweat.gif oh how I wish I have a soldering set now rolleyes.gif

about the wiring diagram and so on, I think there should be some general tutorial about this. just need to know the power rating for that LED, and then just add in resistors accordingly lah nod.gif

I'm with you in this matter. whenever I see a damn good looking entry, first thing that came across my mind is either that kid is one hell of talented modeler or had that made by somebody else hmm.gif

besides, if got problem standing then put it on a stand. problem solved. kits like delta plus are meant to be put on stands anyways..
*
+999

due to the complicated mechanisms, transformable kits is less solid and sometimes have quite limited articulations compared to non-transformable ones. so that pretty much explains why it becomes quite unstable sweat.gif

like my MG Zeta C1, I can't come up with any good standing pose (due to very limited & weak crotch articulations and also back-heavy), and using the Action Base 1 has become quite a problem since it wouldn't stay upright; keeps on falling back. I ended up using a stand that usually for those PVC/12-inch figures:

wanna ask what the different between the unicorn OVA version and Unicorn HD version??

finishing. cool2.gif

OVA ver. have normal semi-gloss look like any other gunpla kits, while HD ver is a lot more glossy and more "white" laugh.gif

most HD kits are like that. more glossy and much harder to clean the nubs. and if u plan to paint it, doesnt make much sense to get HD.

and usually....people don opt for HD besdies the zeta 2.0

wah. so. many. limited. kits blink.gif but limited no more whenever Litt Tak opens up their warehouse sale laugh.gif

I've frequently seen gunpla blogs from overseas, that keep on telling how hard these "limited" kits are to get and how excited they are to get hold on one. I wonder what will happen if they sees this... hmm.gif

actually, this applies to western countries, where the demand for plamo is lower, therefore limited kits are all the more rare.. if you see in Hong Kong for example.. limited kits are thrown at dirt cheap prices.. in fact, the 'limited' HD ver MkII were thrown at dirt cheap prices in the past warehouse sales
*
yeap. know that. know that very well. who wouldn't want a MG Mk-II v2.0 HD for RM70? cry.gif

question rihuhs is the sticker on jesta just a normal sticker
cuz mine got blue background instead of green which is usually a color for water slide
*
HGUC kits only comes with normal stickers and foil stickers. even MGs (as in made by Bandai) doesn't have water slides in-box sweat.gif unless for Macross kits lah laugh.gif

don't rely 100% on the background of the sticker to determine what type it is since that doesn't apply to all decals. in general, yes, but not all the times. plus, I can't recall any gunpla at all that comes pre-packed with water slides, even PG for that matter (as long as Bandai kits are concerned)

correct me if I'm wrong

oh izzit blink.gif never properly check after I bought it the other day sweat.gif buy, went home, open box, went through the manual & runners a bit, put back in, keep on shelf until today laugh.gif

just googled, and yes, there is water slide decals included. but this is a special case, and a "special" kit whistling.gif
