Nice. Still waiting for mine!

Oh and about the tax, there really isn't any definite 'pattern' IMO. Our kastam here is as random as one can possibly be. Not really speaking from experience but I've got friends who got taxed 1 out of 3 or 4 times he ships from the US (regardless of item type, price and shipping method used). As for me...well, I've tried having 3 separate shipments that were sent out together from Amiami, all totalling nearly RM500. But nope, no tax. Whereas there are cases of people getting taxed even when it's just ONE shipment totalling less than RM500.

So yeah, I'd like to think of it as a more order-then-pray sort of thing here. Which kinda sucks, really.

Oh yes, and someone mentioned Revo's been a lil quiet on their Queen's Blade subline recently? Check these out then:

And Figma Satonaka Chie from Persona 4 is up for pre-orders as well:

Hence why I prefer buying directly from Japan these days. Can't be 100% sure even when buying from retail stores. Sometimes you may get stock with lower QC. Oh well. Though it's true we can't inspect them beforehand when buying online, but the trusted online stores are usually fine when it comes to QC. Worst comes to worst, you can request for a 1-to-1 exchange I guess. Had some friends who receive a brand new one when they realized their items had defects upon checking. Just had to take a couple of photos and they agreed without any hassle, apparently.

Any comments on the recent Street Fighter Play Arts Kai releases? Do you have only Akuma & Cammy or all 4 so far?

Yeap only Akuma and Cammy. Sculpt-wise they're ok, but articulation-wise not really i.e. can't follow much the pose as in the game. I do hope they will include some stands in the next release
*
So you don't think they're worth the price? Quite expensive, to be honest with you. I was considering getting this series since I'm a lifelong SF fan but I need to be sure if they're any good first. Apart from the limited poseability, any other apparent issues bro? As for stands, I'm not entirely sure but I don't think Play Arts figures usually come with stands right?

Josh,

To me it's worth the price. The figure is sturdy and not flimsy. Paintwork nicely done. The face sculpt is excellent. As what Exiled-Gundam said, there are some limits to the articulation as not all poses and moves you've seen in the video game can be done. I do prefer a stand too. The best thing is all figures are in scale. Cammy and Chun Li are shorter than Ryu and Akuma while Ryu are shorter than Akuma. I'm waiting for Cammy to arrive. So far i have Chun Li and i'm really happy with it.

Thanks bro, appreciate the comments. Will look around for them then I guess. Was quite tempted when they were initially announced anyway, so I guess I'll just go ahead. Thanks, bro Exiled_Gundam too! smile.gif

Cammy, Chun Li and Akuma still available at XL-Shop. Amiami also still have if i'm not mistaken.
*
Naw, pretty sure only Akuma is left on Amiami. The rest all out. But it's okay, I have an idea where I can get them for acceptable prices. I'm kinda hoping they'll release more villains (Bison, Vega and maybe even Sodom) in the future. smile.gif

it says 13cm, anyway Revoltech was never scale focused

EDIT: I just saw it being listed at 12.5cm tall only HERE (which is somewhat official) so I think it won't be completely awkward when posing them side by side. Better than nothing, I guess. Haha.

Yep, got it along with Grey Fox. Have yet to unbox them though. No space zzz. But I must say from what I've seen, they look very impressive and worth it.

Oh also, Revo Bumblebee is scheduled to open for pre-orders starting tomorrow (30th March 2012).

Yeah, the Strike Witches Figmas so far have been pretty solid so I figure Sanya would continue MF's good work on this series. smile.gif

I think I'll prefer to see Perrine made instead. Far less blonde Figmas so far compared to the more common brunette and others. Haha. And from MF's pattern of releasing one Strike Witches Figma per year, I guess your best bet is early next year for another. They might release another much later this year though considering how Sanya is released in July and not as late as the previous two (December 2010 and September 2011 respectively).

i just wish they focus on finishing the strike witches series / other good anime series than making a baseball team maskot figma ~_~

Buffalo Bell will probably sell really well with baseball fans. And baseball happens to be Japan's number one sport. Who did you think they were targeting? Once in a while, I'm thankful they release something totally different. At least, there's a chance I can actually skip it and save up for the ones I want. Haha

Wail? I think it has committed suicide (trying to say it's not my fault for killing it) quite a while back. So I guess it doesn't really matter anymore LOL. >_<

Queen's Blade Inquisition Siggy already request for payment
i thought drossel should be end of March but they change it to late april
*
Haha yeah, nowadays they don't seem to notify you about changes to release dates. Well at least I'm not getting any notice mails like previously. Luckily I realized that sometime back when they announce the changes otherwise I'll have to ship some of my stuff on their own too. Which would be a total waste zzz.

On the other hand, just placed my order for Play Arts Kai 'Meryl Silverburgh' from MGS series:

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

The accessories are so VERY lacking I initially thought this was an April's Fool joke. Seriously now, Square Enix? Though I can't help myself but to order her as I'm loving the first two releases in Grey Fox and Snake. Those two are really nice figures.
