I don't know much about that as I only collect poseable and articulated figs, but if you want something similar but at a cheaper price you can try getting the Figma version of the exact same figure and bike in your pic. The Figma will be released next week or so (late April) while the bike should be opening for orders in the near future.

Oh well, just a suggestion bro. I guess I just don't know how to appreciate static figures so I'm sorry I can't be of help there.

goddamn amiami says hanekawa is for japanese consumer only!!!!

Almost every single Figma on Amiami's site has that 'For sale in Japan only.' tag. Don't worry about it.

Figma Ika-Musume released!  rclxms.gif

Just got notice from the site I ordered from. Now just left Saber Zero and Drossel before they all ride the same boat rclxm9.gif
*
Drossel is coming only in May, bro. The usual delays from MF. If you ordered from Amiami then they'll automatically split when all the items in the same month are ready, though. So that's fine. But I'm not sure about the other sites haha.

For some reason, it seems like a lot of bros here have been facing QC issues when purchasing Revoltech figures... Strange how I've not had a single defect so far after several years of collecting them. Then again I just collect the Tokusatsu line and the recent human releases like FMA and Alucard so I guess I won't know if the mecha stuff are pretty bad in quality or not. Oh well...

Hmm my revoltech also don't have much QC issues. I noticed there's 2 version of Revoltech? One is Japan one is maybe HK. Coz when I see my Iron Man Mk6 box (which was purchased in local shop), the character name on the side is written in English, while the other (Mk2, Mk3, War Machine) which was bought straight from Japan uses Katakana for character name
*
Haha I guess that's a possibility. I do get all my figures directly from Japan anyways.

That bad? Whoa that's really unfortunate, bro. Maybe you can try asking for an exchange since it's product defect?

Some few pages back (?) I believe I mentioned I really hoped MF would release her someday. I'm truly thankful they did, and this quickly too! biggrin.gif

there's a revoltech spawn!?

That is by no means a Revoltech figure. He was just using the figure as an example of having the final product being extremely close to the promotional pictures.

What the heck is that?  shocking.gif

That would be Figma Giant Warrior from the old Tokusatsu film 'A Giant Warrior Descends On Tokyo', to be exact. Definitely getting the web release that is due for February 2013. This is by far one of the more distinguishable looking Figmas in a long time. Too many cute girls every month can get pretty stale sometimes lol.

I for one would prefer if the Tokusatsu line stuck with old school kaijins and characters from older movies. They were always the better made ones among the lineup IMO. The ones from the newer film titles like Batman and Ironman had pretty bad face sculpts whereas the latest Gamera and Legion are awesome sick.

Well, definitely not to scale but at least Bumblebee is still slightly shorter. 5mm only to be exact lol.

I really liked all four of the released Sengoku Basara Revoltech figures. It's really a shame they discontinued making the other characters. Zzz...

Figma should really just stick to their forte of making cute anime chicks and not be overly ambitious with new licenses. And please just make more awesome guy characters before venturing into Zelda type territory. This Figma Link is...extremely weird looking... Zzz...

Hardly see normal release Figmas going for discount above the usual initial 20+%. Usually only the bundle ones can go beyond that especially when they're attempting to clear those stocks. Revoltech figures on the other hand, seem to be a lot more willing when it comes to sales. Every now and then you get a new list of figures going for 30-50% off.

Well to be fair, sometimes it's not the size factor. It could be the price which in IBRS' case is fairly high. Size-wise, it's about the same as the SP-Ride Gantz Bike from last year from what I can tell (or maybe even a little smaller). So it's not really THAT big. My parcel at that time even fit in an additional two more Figmas as well. And no, I did not get taxed.
