How is the Philips 42 inch Smart LED TV: PFL7406? It has Pixel Precise HD, 400Hz Perfect Motion Rate, response time 2ms but only 500,000:1 contrast ratio? Hows the viewing experience for such low contrast? Legends SS2 is quoting me RM 2950 for this.

Any input?

Exactly RM2,000? Which Seng Q?

The 40UAD5000 has 100Hz motion rate and but whats the contrast ratio? Its only stated as 'mega contrast'.
*
Yup, which SenQ? HN is selling at RM2099 now. This is the cheapest I see so far out of the many major retail electrical shops (not including those selling at shop lots eg. Legends).

Check out 40UAD5500 guys. Bought it last month for RM2500. But i think the only difference is its a Smart TV. I should have bought the D5000. Wasted almost RM500 sad.gif

Hi, i'm planning to get a 40" LCD/LED TV too. Budget is 2-2.5k.
Came across the sony model also (KDL40EX520), review says that it has bad speaker/sound...any owner care to share some feedback?

Yup, dat's BEST way 2decide on AV displays eg TVs. Hv a first hand experience YRSELF!!
Not rely on specs on paper nor other ppl's reviews. Those ppl are NOT the ones who are going to watch the TV yu buy DAILY!!
See & hear for yrself...thumbup.gif

Good advice : NEVER buy Visual Displays juz fr list of features on paper! tongue.gif
Go hv FIRST hand look & comparison of ACTUAL display output of sets in choices @ same default settings & same video!!
Done. Over 2yu guys...yr $$$$... brows.gif
