 [WTA] can i build up my chest without equitment?

im a starter here...
i don't have any dumpbell and very less to go to gym...
just wonder,can i build up my chest by doing push ups'pumping' ?
i googled,there's few push ups position,should i do difference position each day?

how many times and how many set should i do per day?


BTW,i'm 165cm,68-72 kg...ya kind of 'chubby',but not that fat tho xD

i wan't to build up my chest,and my arm afterward...

Muscle gain is an adaptation to a phase that it is not use too, you can do a million push ups a day, if you're not using weights to push the muscle beyond where it's been to, you're not going to build a solid chest

as razorboy says, to build more than what u already have,u need to strain your muscles more than u usually do. but since the ts says he is a complete beginner,im going to assume he seldom does any workout, or inconsistently, so by doing pushups,yes you can build ur chest,but up to a certain point. and depending on the difficulty of the pushup version, you could increase the strain u put on. eventually though,u might need to be more creative and if that still doesnt satisfy u then u need to use equipments.

one note,you should search for calisthenics..

Yes u can brian but the limits come sooner than body building, so just don't expect the same if u don't wanna pump iron.

Chest expander is only fun if you got chest hair and you pulled it across your chest....

which i dont understand is...
is push ups do all the part of upper chest,side chest and lower chest?
or just certain part?

i do push ups in difference position each set...
