Actually its about the same if u calculate together with free drink, or 40% without the free drink. Unless the system has some issue and give u free drink.

For me, RM42 minus 40% minus again 25% for using ocbc card at the curve is 18.90
RM42 minus 25% minus cost of free drinks (assume 12.50) is RM19

yup have to agree on this but its only apply to tumbler as mug won't entitle you a free drink anyway. So far bought a tumbler for ownself and 2 mugs as christmas presents, now contemplating of getting another tumbler for frapp

Ocbc gives 25% discount? I didn't know that. I go to the curve quite often.

Same here. I got the Christmas tumbler for frapp at 40% off. Then I saw the big size tumbler for frapp but no discount. I like the rounded cover coz I usually order with whipped cream.

Yup. Am referring to tumbler. That's why I bought tumblers as christmas gift instead of mugs. Gonna get another one for myself. smile.gif

Yeap. OCBC Dining promo gives you 20% cash rebate. Plus the original 5% by OCBC Titanium, total up 25%. brows.gif

Added on December 28, 2012, 9:23 amI consider myself lucky coz my sbucks card actually left in Sbucks that day. The barista picked up and kept as lost-n-found item. Phewww...
Gonna write a letter to compliment them for the kindness.

I'm sorry for off-topic..but I wanna ask since alot of Starbucks customers here..

My friend told me that any tumbler you use can get RM2 off for your drink (my friend tried before and it works).

But when I went to get my drink just now using my own tumbler (not SB tumbler), the cashier told me that I'm not entitled for the RM2 off.

So I'm confused..at their menu they said "Bring A tumbler", but some online sites say "Bring your Starbucks tumbler". So..which one?

Should be Starbucks tumbler. Barista told me so when I was purchasing my tumbler.

Didn't know it could possibly work with other tumblers. Hehe.

Only starbucks tumbler. Else I can bring my ciplak tumbler and get RM2 off, leaving Starbucks tumbler unsellable. tongue.gif

The logic was to give RM2 discount because I did not use their plastic cup..hence saving the environment tongue.gif

Maybe that time my friend was lucky..
