Here's the electrical connection coming out from my bathroom wall. What's the best way to connect to my heater, yet water proof? Is there anything like a waterproof in-line splice?
Prefer not to drill any hole to my tiles.



Does this type of flexible hose greatly reduce the water supply pressure/flow? It's normally use for hand shower outlet. Therefore I'm not sure. I plan to use this because this is the only type of flexible non-conductive hose that I can find.

you say direct, but the wires from the wall are too short. need to splice with the wires that come out from the heater.

Anyone has experience installing water heater (including electrical wiring) by yourself? If so, can share how difficult or easy do you find it?

Hello all, I just install a Midea instant water heater this morning and notice the water pressure is low, cannot enjoy the shower. For the electrical part I am not concern, as installation is done by proper electrician.
For the plumming part, he just reuse my shower pipe to install the  hose supplying water and then connect to the water heater shower system. Without the heater, water pressure is good.
So how can I increase the water pressure for a better shower experience? Don't want to change to storage heater if possible.

Looking to replace old apha water heater. Water is not hot anymore, especially when use full pressure. Usual electrician is suggesting these 2 models, dh 3rl1 and dh3rp1.
The old water heater didnt have pump so I think i wont need the pump model right? Anye reviews for both of those models?

I bought the toshiba dsk38es3mb in 2020. The unit is now slightly faulty. The temperature knob does not show the correct temperature and the temperature keep moving everywhere. I noticed that I need to put more to the redline to get the same temperature. Anyone like this? Is this fixable? It says on the unit 5 year warranty.

I see the problem now. Found a video on YouTube too but for Panasonic. Same symptoms and problem. Need to change the rheostat. Any guide how to do it by yourself? Or need to call technician

Does anyone have a panasonic dh-3ms1? Somehow it takes a while before the water gets "hot" (temp knob set at max). Did I have a faulty unit(new, just started using recently) or it just behaves like that?

My tenanted unit meru 45l tank heater on switch totally no hot water. A year ago hose leaking spent 350 repaired now heating element failed need 380+100 to replace.

Decided to move to instant heater instead.
Noob questions:

1.Should water be let out from the tank since no longer in use in future?
2.How to empty an erected Meru tank with outlet hose on top and inlet hose at bottom? If you know any expert plumber in this please ask to DM me price.

The current switch is 2-way meaning 1 heater shared between 2 bathrooms. Developer cheap design. Managed to install 1 instant heater using the original heater wiring.

In 2nd bathroom, it is renovated with a 3 pin socket for shaver, hairdryer etc. The current heater switch is outside bathroom.

3.Can this socket be converted to instant heater switch? If it is not safe, does it means need to add wiring and drill a hole to reach the current switch outside bathroom? Tenant doesn't want too many holes n wiring casings, need fast job that do not inconvenience them. However, safety must come first.
