i tot using instant water heater is the most economical becos we only heat up the amount of water we use as compare to heat up 25L of storage water. .

Yes but instant have its own problem. During rainy day you won't get good warm water if flow rate are high.

My place the setting is 80°C sweat.gif
That's why if using heated tank, no need to bother much on water will be cold or not(keep electric bill behind on this) laugh.gif

how hot/warm do u want ? im using instant water heater for about 15yrs+ and i have no problems in any weather condition smile.gif

When we have a rainy season, have to turn the instant water to the max to have a warm feeling of water, and pressure is on the average side. When using direct incoming water is even worse, only have a normal room temperature water.

My mom go off to work around 5am+, rainy season (year end), her water heater is at the max setting all the time, and have to reduce the water flow. Her's is direct incoming. I changed the wiring for her twice because of the load.

Any sifuy can advise , how can we prevent people get electricity shock from instant water heather ?

Insulate the power cable ? try to make the instant water heater install within the power socket.. ?? ensure cable is proper ground ?
*
You cannot 100% prevent but reduce the possibility.

You using Joven?
I see only Joven is selling centralised water heater system.

I used to use Joven single room water heater system before and water pressure like i pee.  doh.gif
*
Water pressure problem not the fault of the water heater unit, is the incoming water pressure. No doubt there will be some drop of water pressure after passing through the heated element (for instant heater).

Mine is Joven too. I remember there is few other brand that selling it, could be Alpha

how long do you need to wait before you can start shower? mean to wait the water in the storage to be heated.
*
Immediately if it was used previous day. If left if off for two days or more, just 5mins will do. If you have bigger storage will need wait bit longer.

just installed panasonic DH-3MP1 today. i notice that the dc pump starts running as soon as i power on the device and without any water. is this normal?

before this using alpha ac pump shower heater. pump will only run when water is turned on and will auto stop when water is turned off.

worried if i forget to turn off the power, dc pump will run throughout the whole night.
*
If you let the pump dry run, it will burned. Worse will caught fire. Water pump is design to run with water. And is only kick on when flow are detected. Something is not right with your pump.

The benefit of switching off the main switch is much greater than leaving it on permanent. Imagine if you have power surged and it will damage your water pump. Pump now have move electronic component, and it also waste energy.

guys

anyone know if water heater pump replaceable?

the pump kaput already

brand beebest

I don't know about that brand. For Panasonic, and Canton that I have experience before, is not worth the money. + Labor and actual pump from the same manufacture will cost almost the same buying one. Furthermore buying one is Brand New and 1 year warranty. Repair only the motor.

Think of safety, 4-5 hundred ringgit for a new unit give you some assurance of safety.

If already have water booster pump at rooftop, do we need water heater with built in pump again? Landed house

Nope, but you need to check the spec, some instant water heater cannot support if pressure too high.

All my Instant water heater with build in pump won't last > 4 years. While the one without pump still going strong.

Guys, wanna ask can I install instant water heater instead of installing the storage? I dont like the idea of the water being store inside, feels like germs inside in long term. Secondly, there is limited water liter.

Thanks for your input
*
Storage will provide water at much high temperate, hence you don't need so much water inside the storage. Water tank is also storing water do you feel having germs inside? Every house have a water tank, apartment and condor have even bigger tank.

If the photos is your bath room, you can install instant water heater but on the roof there the storage suppose to be, or you need to hack the wall and tap out the water tap to install.
