ya..based on ur size and measurement,ur granite should be less than RM4100 with supply and install..
(9'+7') x 2 = 32sf
32 x RM40 = RM1280 (for raw material)

the cutting/L-edges/cut holes+install would be around 2k max..
its muz better do ask him to list all e unit price for each item..so you can calculate yaself..smile.gif

Yes, here in Selangor, is around rm70-120/pfr without tiles, off course depending on labour skills (Chinese, indon etc). for 9x9 , just calculate (9’x7’) as the other 2’ is overlapped. Remember to add the supporting legs foot run too

(9'+7'+2'+2'+2')xRM60=RM1320. Correct? Dang! My contractor quote me RM2560!!

yup..for my case,i did my wet kitchen at RM70 per fr for e concrete top..(i supply all e 2x2 tiles/cement/bricks)
for dry kitchen, since i going for granite..the tiler only charge me RM50 pfr..

for urs..9+9=18' cos usually the contractor will not minus the 2' overlap corner..
18 x RM70 = RM1260 (labour only)
RM2560 - RM1260 =RM1300 (for the cement/bricks and 2x2 tiles):e rest will be his profit liao..

I think need to add 2'+2' for the legs. Btw, i requested my contractor to re-quote the price. Here is the breakdown:
16ftr concrete support (w/o tiles) - RM1800
16ftr black galaxy granite for tops, edge and side- RM4150
16ftr aluminum glass door, including 1 set aluminum drawer -RM2180
9ftr solid wood cabinet with aluminum glass door (wall cabinet) -RM2030
-> No need to deduct 3' for the HOOD?

Hi,

I would like to get a granite table tops with 3G cabinets. My contractor have given me a quotation and told me
that the side of the table should be tiles, around 3" covering the concrete (pls see arrows on picture below).  blink.gif
I thought the whole thing should be granite cover up the concrete? If tiles on the side, granite on tops, UGLY, right?
I'm confused. Can someone enlighten me?  icon_question.gif  Thanks.

Rubbish... i've done my concrete top and the sides of my concrete table in both my wet & dry kitchen in granite.
Installation cost differs depending on where you want the granite installed and certain installation methods cost more than others, such as the types of edging of the granite where the top meets the side, etc...

And i'm using 3G doors as well.

Hope that helps.
