Hi JS..im from Jb too..and i be gettin my granite this week..
the guy quoted me L-shape with around 2.0" thick with cutting and polishing at RM22 per square ft..

so i assume RM1XXX is bit steep..

As for normal buffer/polishing based on the original thickness of e granite..which abt 2cm..its RM12 per square ft..

By the way,i choose the cheapest white granite which about RM20+ per square ft..smile.gif

Thanks for sharing. Called him already. Was quoted RM4100 for the black galaxy granite (covering all external concrete area).
Price include installation. To me, price is reasonable.  smile.gif

Added on November 14, 2011, 4:45 pmNow, i need to know the price for the concrete table, no tiles. Was told btw RM50-70.
Per square feet or per foot run? How much for 9'x9' L-shape concrete table? Help, please....  icon_question.gif

[quote=JollySheep,Nov 15 2011, 01:18 AM]iieee has share with me his granite supplier. I managed to call him. He can supply & install the granite, as well as the concrete table top, Except the cabinets. Price is cheaper though.

ya..based on ur size and measurement,ur granite should be less than RM4100 with supply and install..
(9'+7') x 2 = 32sf
32 x RM40 = RM1280 (for raw material)

the cutting/L-edges/cut holes+install would be around 2k max..
its muz better do ask him to list all e unit price for each item..so you can calculate yaself..smile.gif

Yes, here in Selangor, is around rm70-120/pfr without tiles, off course depending on labour skills (Chinese, indon etc). for 9x9 , just calculate (9’x7’) as the other 2’ is overlapped. Remember to add the supporting legs foot run too

(9'+7'+2'+2'+2')xRM60=RM1320. Correct? Dang! My contractor quote me RM2560!!

yup..for my case,i did my wet kitchen at RM70 per fr for e concrete top..(i supply all e 2x2 tiles/cement/bricks)
for dry kitchen, since i going for granite..the tiler only charge me RM50 pfr..

for urs..9+9=18' cos usually the contractor will not minus the 2' overlap corner..
18 x RM70 = RM1260 (labour only)
RM2560 - RM1260 =RM1300 (for the cement/bricks and 2x2 tiles):e rest will be his profit liao..
