What actually determine gold price going up or down?
I always have this impression that gold was a save-haven during bad times, but seems is not the case.
Anyone could enlighten us?

Gold price is determined by the supply and demand in the market.

USD is the safe-haven currency when finacial crisis happen instead of gold. Please check back the gold price during 2007 financial crisis. Gold is a commodity that hedge againts inflation.

it could mean a new support range between 1580 & 1620... risk of falling below 1500 is lower... still a buying opportunity (with added confidence)...

Added on June 1, 2012, 10:16 pmbreak through 1610... still climbing...
