Dengan setiap kemenangan Manchester United, semua pembelian dengan Kad Maybankard Manchester United pada hari tersebut akan diberikan 5X TreatsPoints.

Under the T&C it listed down all 27 premier league matches up to May 2012

Other con is all the matches are on Saturdays where M2 Amex gives better deals, unless the particular merchant doesn't accept AMEX. In addition if the matches are played on Sat night Malaysia time, does it mean you get the 5x offer on Sunday or whatevers remaining of Saturday? Or else you'd have to spend first and hope they win later rclxub.gif

Guess its really a card for collectors purpose, can't see its benefit being practically better or even complementing M2 Kards.

I think so too. Spend during the daytime, then after that hope that you'll earn the additional 4x treat points by rooting for MU tongue.gif. Feels like gambling, but you wont lose. Either you earn nothing or earn additional 4x treat points tongue.gif.

5X TP for Petrol and groceries? Are there any brands that we must use to be eligible or no limit, I cant seem to find it at maybank website

Thinking of applying this card to supplement my Mastercard. Not all petrol station accept AMEX and some small grocer shop only accept MA/Visa so i think i can get more point with this smile.gif

Yeah, I got in 45 minutes (under the 60 minutes program, no Starbucks voucher this time) but bear in mind that I had an existing Maybank CC already. I just fill up my name, IC and then sign at the application form.

Credit Limit is shared between my other cards. So far the card had not appear in my M2U yet.

Behold the new Manchester United Credit Card

Took me 45 minutes from the submission of the form to taking of the card at 1U card centre. The card is matte like the UOB One Card. Love the red border around the card.

Sigh, paying so much just to keep the United crest in my wallet.

Congrats Bro for being the first person to report here having the MBB MU card.

Packaging not bad, nicer than most premier card welcome kit. So you get 2 cards. I find the black card with the red border really cool. Too bad I am not a MU fan. Want to loan me the card for me to do a review tongue.gif

Yeah, I was quite surprised about the packaging too. For a 30k requirement card, best I had seen.

The card that you will get is just the top card. The bottom card is the PBB Man Utd debit card. I posted it just for comparison only. The red border belongs to the MBB Man Utd card.

Let's swap with your MBB VI tongue.gif

OIC, from the pic I thought the red border was on the PBB card. To me the PBB black card nicer. What if next year the one of the players shown in MBB cards are transferred to another team and he then scores the winning goal against MU, you MU fans will then scratch his face on the card, hahaha

you want to do a review too on MBB VI biggrin.gif

If they give free GST, might apply to keep the card as souvenir. brows.gif

Don't worry Gen-X, i'm sure the 3 player on the card will not transfer to other club in this coming 2-3 season biggrin.gif

This card is perfect for a Man Utd supporter, with petrol and grocery rebate, waiver of annual fee!

I am a MU fan but won't get it cause don't have any MU goodies also. Benefits wise not better than OCBC or citibank unless you going to buy stuff from MU store.

I remember old PBB MU card was better, at least you are MU club member for 1 year with some memobrillias and you can redeem some MU stuff with your points...

I have already demoted my MBB 2 Master and probably won't be using it as long as I have this card. At worst, this card can be only on par with the MBB 2 Master.

But normally games are played at night and after the game ends, it is after 12 already on the next day unless it is an early match. You won't know if they will win or not. Is kinda like a gamble unless you do not have any better cards than this.

When I made the transaction, the match against Blackburn rover was on going and it was drew 2-2 and I silently hope that Man Utd will win the match so that I could get additional 5x TP...

OMG ... this is getting more "crazy". I thought with MBB2 AMEX, I have to plan ahead all my swipes to fall on weekends.

Now, if I were to have this CC, I have to plan with BPL fixtures. laugh.gif

I have already thrown out my MBB2 Master. Whatever the MBB2 Master could do, the Man Utd card could match it and sometimes it just gets better.

Credit to Newcastle, they played very well. We will bounce back biggrin.gif

Petrol usage is always 5X. Mine was used for retail transaction but on the day that United won the game. The last time it was credited together but this time it is not. I will give them a call later and see.

Just to update. Been pretty busy so don't have time to lurk around.

I called the CS on Wednesday and raised my issue to them. They checked and called me back on Thursday to acknowledge that they had added my other extra 4X TP in the system which they did not do earlier.

I also requested them to send me monthly e-statement to my email account (and they say it is possible) because this card do not have paper statement option. I cannot sign up for e-statement because if I do so, my M2Card will be automatically also reverted to e-statement which I do not want because I always keep a physical copy of my record filed up.

I agree.

Just that I feel, instead of swiping it, they could have swipe with other cards. Not to say they shud not own it.
But anyway, not many is Calculative and stringent on usage of cc. I have heard of worst. Someone I know don't even wanna bother to get another card. What his card give him now is only normal 1x pts. Lol.

- Minimum Deposit for Current/Saving Account open is RM250. Does this mean that I have to maintain a min RM250 in my CASA? or only during application?

- I already have the Visa debit card (cherry). Can I replace it with this MU card? If cannot, can I link 2 debit cards to the same CASA?

- Set your own purchase limit up to RM5,000. What is the minimum limit that i can set?

I just changed my Cherry VISA debit card to the new MU VISA debit card and i absolutely love it. I am not a fan of MU (or football) but the design is so much better than the Cherry one. The Maybank logo is printed at the back of the card instead of the front and the card is in matte finish, just like the Citibank Platinum Cash Back card tongue.gif

About a year or two ago, someone complained his card's chip is faulty but he still had to pay the card replacement fee. The guy apparently wasn't happy as he's been using the card for less than one year. He complained something about the card's quality is subpar but the bank officer insisted that he was liable for the card replacement fee and told him that they will give him a free replacement if it's been only used for only a few days. So i didn't bother to tell them the chip is faulty. But do update us here if you manage to get a free card replacement, perhaps next time i'll give it a try biggrin.gif

Yes. But the bank officer said it is free only if it doesn't work on the first use or it becomes faulty in the first few days. The guy that i talked about had use his for only a few months. So he wasn't to happy to pay for the card replacement fee but he had no choice.

I would say that MU VI has better privilege over the conventional VI. From what I see, MU VI has the 5X points for Petrol and Supermarket, which I doubted why the conventional VI does not have it. If it has I guessed it should be perfect!

You get 5x on the same day only. So potentially you cant plan to earn as UK is 7/8 hrs behind our timezone. The moment they wins, normally our "same day" is either already over or almost over.

Last year there was a campaign where you earn both on the same day and the next day but it ended already.

BTW, 5x for petrol and grocery is any day, any time.

Possible. Take tonight match as example, it ends around 11:45pm. So you still have 15mins to get the transaction done plus a guarantee of 5x TP.

They wouldn't know what you buy. Its controlled by the MCC code of the merchant that counts.
For example, Cold Storage and AEON BIG are under groceries, while Parkson is under Departmental store.

I'm not sure bout Tesco and Giant which I think most likely under groceries as well but you may find out from your statement from your swipes.

If you have MBB2 AMEX, all these merchants accept AMEX and your 5x TP is guaranteed.

Hi, anybody still uses this card?

I want to ask about points on match day. I spent twice, 13/8/17 4pm (pharmacy purchase) and 13/8/17 11.45pm (online purchase). But the points I got today is only 2x, not 5x. Should I get 2x or 5x actually? Thanks

I want to ask about points on match day. I spent twice, 13/8/17 4pm (pharmacy purchase) and 13/8/17 11.45pm (online purchase). But the points I got today is only 2x, not 5x. Should I get 2x or 5x actually? Thanks

this point will not be immediate, will be sometime before the statement date.

in the next statement you can see whether it shows "MU match bonus"

let's say MU match is on 13 august UK time, then when you charge your card you have to make sure the time is UK date 13August

Does mbb give bonus 4x only for winning EPL matches only? How about if winning FA cup or champions League matches?

Hi, I just applied for this card. Have read this thread but still a bit uncertain on when the time frame to earn 5x TP.
If match is 11 pm today ie 20/2/18, that's 2 pm UK time 20/2/2018. So any transaction dated 20/2 will get right?

What about if match is say 20/2/18 5 pm UK time. Its already 21/2/2018 1am msia time. So means I have no chance to earn 5x TP unless charge the day before the match?

Based on uk match date but charge on msia date. Eg match on 2 april uk time, then you use the card on 2 apr msia time

Bro, what about this one? 20/2 5pm uk time, already 21/2 msia time.
So i need to use it on 20/2 or 21/2 malaysia time so that can get 5xpoint?

Use on 20/2 msia time. Which also means, in this scenario, you won't know if you get the 5TP because mu might lose the match. So it's a gamble.

Maybank’s Manchester United Visa Credit Cards Campaign Offers Rewards Including 10x TreatsPoints

Maybank has several promotions for Manchester United Visa credit cardholders, with the highlight being a generous 10x TreatsPoints for groceries spending. Additionally, you get to enjoy a 20% discount when you make purchases at the Adidas online store, as well as have the opportunity to win exclusive Manchester United 2020/2021 home jerseys.

10x TreatsPoints
From today until 31 December, you will be able to earn 10x TreatsPoints (instead of the current reward of 5x TreatsPoints) for every RM1 that you spend on groceries when you pay with any of the two Manchester United co-brand credit cards: the Maybank Manchester United Visa Gold and the Maybank Manchester United Visa Infinite (MUVI).

The 10x TP earning is capped at RM1,500 for your grocery spend, and will be credited to your account 12 weeks from your credit card statement date. To participate in this promotion, SMS the code WINMU to 66628. After the RM1,500 spend threshold, you’ll earn the standard 5TP per RM1 on groceries.

20% Sitewide Discount At The Adidas Online Store
Aside from the two promotions above, you are also entitled to a 20% sitewide discount on the Adidas online store when you pay for your purchases with the participating cards. Between 17 to 31 August, you can use the promo code “ADIMAYB” at the checkout page to redeem the discount voucher to be used for your transaction.

Manchester United Home Jersey 2020/2021
300 pieces of Manchester United 2020/2021 home jerseys are up for grabs from now until 31 October, which you can win by completing the two tasks below:

a. Applying for a Maybank Manchester United Visa Infinite or Gold credit card through Maybank2u
b. Activating your card and spend a minimum of RM800 within the first 45 days upon approval

Thanks for clarifying this. Been wondering this for a while but was too lazy to figure it out haha.

Um. Today is 7 March 2021. Man City vs Man Utd. No way Man Utd is gonna win. Guess I'll just accept 2x haha.

campaign ended last year, likely the reward only credited recently (mbb known for very slow to award rewards for campaigns)

no idea about the reward name "MU10 MACHINES 10% CASH BACK". either call CS to find out or compare the MU10 campaigns, see which one likely match your spending vs T&Cs.
