Web browser abot half hour. Games abt half hour. Screen brigtness at its lowest. The rest of the time in pocket on standby and reply abt five watsapp msgs.

Smart fon but dumb battery. Or maybe dumb user. Haha.

u still on stock rom?

mine usually if browsing for 1/2 hours already drop 10%, but if use it as a dumbphone(call and sms only) can last 2 days.

browsing on wifi or data? browsing usually consume a lot of juice.

Ya, I'm using the SGS2 default lockscreen. There should be a word "charging" there if u are charging rite?

i think it should have. but idk since im using custom ROM since the day i bought the phone.

Get better battery stats on XDA forum and see if got any wakelocks. If not then its normal. Hard to judge battery usage cos eveyone uses it differently.

Also leaving data connection on all the time will drain battery very fast. Don't expect too much in terms of battery life from a phone with a big screen and powerful processor.

Added on November 19, 2011, 11:41 amYeah i think G version the sensor is on all the time. My friend's G version the sensor is always on when screen on. Totally different from our non-G version. Not sure if it affect batt life or not.

yup my G with 2.3.6 also can see that dim red light but not to obvious, only in dark places i'll be able to see it clearly.

damn, i bought a spare battery from ocean eleven in mines,
i bought it for RM150, the seller claim it was original.

after using it for about 2 months, i can 100% confirm that the capacity is just about 2/3 of my orginal battery, maybe just 1000mAh only.

so frustrating.
i went to courts in mines yesterday, took an official samsung flyer, i saw that the original accesories for SGS2, original battery 1650mAh is just RM89, and the extended battery kit 2000mAh is RM139.

i spend RM150 for a china quality battery.
Damn angry!!

also, my sgs2 is purchased from there on 11 august, i was only given one year warrantee.

yes! thats the one. but it was recently renovated, now it looks like a samsung show room, displaying lots of galaxy products. when i bought that time, its still a normal shop.

That's weird. Bought from there twice now. Got 2 years warranty for both TAB and ACE. Got the SMS reply on the spot after seller registered it (both bought after renovation I guess cos it looks like Samsung showroom)

The batt they sell you for RM150 is it Samsung brand or generic brand?
Cos the price for Samsung 2000mAH extended batt should be fixed at RM139 at SEP.

I don understand why apple ifag still kutuk kaw2 sgs2.. I just see the threds of what happen to apple drop test.. And non any of us no kutuk2 or condem the iphone.. But the ifag guys showing they big mouth..

yes, before they renovate their shop, the sold me a battery, similar packaging to nokia battery, the usual cardboard wrapped with plastic, with a "ori" samsung sticker on top.

i'm not a novice user, i know about smarphones, i'm certain that the capacity is lower.
looking at the battery history, it can only last 3+ hours with heavy use like wifi and play HD games. while my real stock battery can get me 4-5 hours.

besides that, the "fake" battery took only 1 hour 15 mins to fully charge, while my ori one takes about 2 hours.

yesterday (after the renovation) i went there, I saw that they sell battery too, got 2 types, the 1650mAh & 2000mAh ones.
Both those battery packaging are more "genuine" lookig now, with totally different packaging that the one i bought.

LOL..that's why they are called iFag I guess
