They said it needs to be registered. So how?

the shop seller suppose to register it for you through sms but perhaps he/she didnt and since u bought 2nd hand, i think u cant do much about it. try to find in forum about self sending the sms (duno if it is possible)?

my set was from digi, and the digi guy did not send the sms for me too. mine was not registered also

anyone having issue of connecting to wifi network with wep 128-bit encryption?

previously on checkrom 2.0 no problem

after i flash to checkrom 3.1.1 cant connect to wifi connection that require 128 bit wep encryption

keep showing that the network cannot be save

easy...go to samsung retailer dealer (private one), buy sumthing from them n they will help u do liao...whr r u from?

a new window will pop up as below:



select the options shown, select the correct model #, refer at your phone, behind the battery.

scroll down,



enter your particulars, inform them that you want to register your phone for the e-warranty, and also upload the scan image of your SGS2 purchase receipt; just write your full name, ic # and imei # just in case on the receipt or other paper.

then submit!!

they will contact you guys within 24 hours during working days only. hope this help...

p/s: i'm not working for SME by the way.

hey everyone, i am using s2 and my gf using iphone. when we are inside lecture hall where the wall are quite thick, my s2 no connection or on emergency call. my gf iphone got connection and can go online somemore. is iphone antenna better than s2?
we are using same operator. maxis.

the sms thingie is not about the warranty from telco ler, its for everyone..

its whether u r registered or not despite u bought anywhere.. mine bought 2nd from one of the forummer, n i check it using the sms, n it stated mine is 1 year warranty, left 9 more months luckily previous owner got it registered as the receipt all lost, just left the phone n the charger for me lol..

yeah but the thing is, the retailer didn't register it for the buyer which the should had done for us. so the best way just contact samsung directly..and then you can try and check the warranty thru sms again..
