Game Info :

There will be 9 Starter Multiplayer maps , including 'Operation Metro' and 'Caspian Border'
Theres 6 Modes for Multiplayer , Conquest 32 (PS3 & Consoles Only) , Conquest 64 (For PC) , Rush , Team Deathmatch , Squad Deathmatch and Squad Rush.
After an evolution of different type of classes shown in previous Battlefield titles , Battlefield 3 will only have 4 Classes ( Assault Medic , Engineer , Recon and Support)

speaking about abolishing K/D, I don't think it'll work. You can change the game mechanism, but the mentality is still there. Blame those online games like CSO, SA..

for example, most Valve games like CS, TF2 etc doesn't give a single shit about K/D, but the players still cheat for some unknown reasons. smile.gif

i found that the heli in bf3 is harder to perform emergency landing, unlike bc2 where landing is more easy, perhaps is because there is no wheel under the heli? hmm.gif

Can Tank CITV lock the target by itself or it need SOFLAM aid to do so?

If target locked, just press the shoot button or need to change to F1 seat to shoot?

citv no like soflam...no a fix equipment for a tank so when u change seat the lock on effect will gone...so u still need the soflam to lock on 1st then get back in tank use guilded shell aim n lock on again n shot...n there u got the victim of soflam...

1 more is the guilded shell no like javelin will fly to sky 1st n shot to victim u aim...the guilded shell will fly direct to victim,but the dmg will increase cos of soflam lock on effect?that i still dont know...

Just wanna know, I'm using Quadcore Q8300 CPU with Ati HD6970. If I upgrade my CPU to i7 and mobo. Will it improve alot of performances? Or I just wait till next year for new CPU and mobo. ?

if u can bear jaggy-ness.. then turn of the Anti-Aliasing option coz it will improve ur FPS A LOT...

Wrong.

According to Tomshardware the limitation is on the GPU.

BF3 will take just any Quad core CPU nicely.


The long loading time is probably due to the huge 64 player map.

I tried on 32P rush mode it load as fast as BC2.

everytime a new rnd starts, i have at least 25secs to setup.

Loading time = Go get a SSD whistling.gif
BF 3 graphic is more on GPU, i doubt ur Q8300 cant handle it.

Mostly when entering game. Gotta wait for sometime.

at most, BF3 with whatever necessary running, my system takes up between 2.7 - 3.3gb ram.

first of all.. go play dumbell so that it lighten ur arm for fast reflex especially the arm that uses the mouse

next... poke a chained rottweiler until he/she mad then try to poke inside its mouth without getting bitten.. this is good for fast reflex on poking button such as flares and shyt..

finally wear a helmet to increase realism.. this will make u feel more 'sayang' the heli therefore will try ur best to fly carefully without crashing it..

on heli, juz press W = to keep going up n up till a comfortable height.
then, only move mouse forward(dive) and backward(back up) by a small margin, dun move too much ur mouse.
from then, try to be comfortable with ur mouse movement for heli.
Practice make perfect(almost).

i still suxs on evading rocket. they reload faster than i reload flare. and i blame flat land for Firestorm sad.gif

for me, JET is the rclxub.gif part doh.gif

Hey dude, you could try the heli coop mission. I learned from there. At first ascend 3 secs BOOM now, can fly smoothly biggrin.gif

I turn off AA on almost all game, and in BF3 you don't see much difference since the occlusion effect mask off the jagginess anyways

Hmmm... It's weird, the game won't start after loading map screen... just a pitch black screen with loading bar at the bottom right corner... Tried Campaign mode but there's no issue there, can play like always. Tried 32 player, 48 to 64 player map but all result the same... earlier today I can play no problem... What going on here? Anyone have a solution?

i would more glad if they work on bad company 3 using frostbite 2.1(fixed and better version,assuming tongue.gif ) engine
then consider using that engine again for battlefield 4
graphic is already nice now is about stability and function for bf4

stupid one la, again wanna rush the game.

like bf3 was made for pc, but due to lack of time, they ported to console halfway in making. so basicly bf3 not pc made more like 50%, explain the many causes of bugs though.

quite frustrated that keeps getting killed with someone over 20 level than me with fancy gadgets...

but not as frustrated as someone that keeps flashlighting me regardless enemy or teammates...

you're right it is kinda smooth but....there are some stuttering in the game, not always but its kinda frustrating...

i dont mind when the tank get stuck cause ur trying to dodge a rpg or canon
but if when they got themselves trap far away from enemy line while trying to pull some offroad show that really pisses me off

looks like I'm the opposite of that? I speed like crazy to the flags point in conquest tongue.gif I don't give a shit about mines, thermal optics ftw! plus, you get additional points and that anti explosive ribbon.

just get off, plant some c4 n blow some mines up

if im spotting for mines, no time to look at minimap mang.. eyes on the road like watching prawn
thermal optics very hard to differentiate if enemy mine or friendly mine.. the "x" logo not obvious coz everything is black n white

2 on regular tanks, 3 if they have the reactive armor upgrade.. if not 2 only disables it
for amtrac, u need 3 or 4, i plant 2 only disable

once tank disable, wait for engy to get out n repair, kill engy

I place one c4, can disable it. Maybe 2 is enough hmm.gif Placing at sides and back is more deadly to tank i think? hmm.gif

Editted: Probably the tanks that I target has lesser health.

Sometimes, I place it on the road, when the vehicle almost pass reach c4, press button... never kill vehicle before nod.gif Havent try on infantry

for assault ok.
for engineer, especially using scar-h, the heavy barrel adds more recoil which the foregrip cannot help.

I love doing that in teheran highway. Once you get hold of the opposite team tank, you can rape all their ass tongue.gif

1 c4 = 50 % tank HP without armour upgrade
2 c4 kills it immediately

you could disable a tank and hope the operator come out to repair it then its a free kill and a tank.

yesterday seine crossing map, i used irnv + supressor, from far saw a squad of people 5 - 6 rushing towards me, 1 clip killed all of them cause they dont know i was there tongue.gif

got the AEK service star 2000 points !! mana tau they mortar the area ... -.-"

finally got the game, after my bro urge me to buy and i didnt hear any problems compared to beta... so far so good, athough sometimes a bit problem to get into multiplayer game, still bearable... glad they managed to pulled it off after that crap beta they showed us... scumbag ea/dice lol...

Seems like Dice afraid their MP end too fast (it is actually). They should make a limit for everything but harder to achieve.

Being knowing that the level is endless makes me feel bored, really. The only things that keep me going so far is to compete among friends achievement on the Battlelog.

Whaaa ?? They use IRNV to kill recon ?! I didnt notice that. I was busy killing people who could possibly use IRNV since he expose his position by shooting at me. I prefer 12x scope than IRNV since i want to zoom in from far away for kill then a limit scope.

so what if a enemy appear in front of you? a 12x scope close enough to see his didi size? tongue.gif

IRNV is good to use at places full with bushes where you can't really see your camouflaged enemy..Metro, Caspian(Hilltop, Forest), Damavand Peak.

i do expect i can play it on the lowest setting, i know im useing very old card 8600gts+
but seriously. i can ply crysis 2 on 720p lowest setting no prob.. ( bit lag on intense part )

problem rises again. Right after loading the map, bottom right appears the small box and keeps flashing, waited for 5 minutes and no results, tried different games, still the same

Average is just 34 fps for an 800+ gc card? My GTS 450 is like half the price of that and I get 32 fps average on mostly high settings.

Maybe other factors come into play like processor and gc card.

i buy all my games for MP only. haha...didnt eve ntouch my bfbc2 SP. so mw3 MP is bad? where the days of COD4 adrenaline rush gone? haha...

bf3 combat happens mostly on foot? in bfbc2 i always got hit by random stuff. lol

now BF3 also have COD style kind of map, like Metro tongue.gif and semi-COD like Seine. You do like infantry-only kind of play right?

I would say that ur e type that rushes and kos anyone infront of u without needing to employ any tactics to win the game right?
If that is so,bf3 isn't right for u as it is not as fast pace as mw.

I used to like mw1 and 2 but got burned out after 2 months of playing mw2. Its like doing something repeatly.

Then i tried bfbc2 and its damn fun.

actually he can get used to BF3 pretty easily
in background i never play any multiplayer fps online so when i exposed in the battlefield
all i know
heads = kills = victory

someone who willing to die but at the same time bring down some of the enemy with him

some of bf3 player din't like slowpace gun like Magnum 44. or Shotgun because you can't spray em like any gun
but player who are veteran at this gun can easily gain kill by headshots

Yes Singapore has a lot of Fragnetics servers and for Malaysia we have MBTCentral and Gamers.com.sg and Gamers.com.my?

Ping less than 100 which is quite good.

i mean its so small and give us the function to look big(full size)? for what,my eyes are not godly,if i wanna look full size i'll just press full size,wont even bother if blocking the whole screen,bcos thats im asking for..!

that map left down shud just stay at 1 size!

is like adding extra work to resizing the map everysingletime vmad.gif

bfbc2 for an example..what a downgrade

probably cos bf3 got a whole different team.
in bf2, u can set the map big, AND have control over transparency, so the map doesnt really block ur view...but u can still see outlines of the flags / roads etc.

easy, but get high score is hard

the hint throughout the game is to cooperate with your partner, 1 person take down 1 enemy AT THE SAME TIME

there is one part where there are 3 enemy, one of you need to find an angle that can let you take down both of them at 1 shot, when both of you ready then start spamming

I wonder how I can hit a person, with blood animation coming out, he turned and shoot me twice and I die, and when the kill cam shows, he is still 100% life.

The ranks are way too easy to reach to colonel IMHO.

Back when BF2 it took a really long time to get to gunnery sergeant.... Every kill was only worth 2 points and a teamkill you get to PUNISH your teamkiller with an option to deduct twice the number of points you get when you score a kill.

These penalties apply to teammates in vehicles, as well, so if you "accidentally" blow up a fully-loaded APC or helicopter, you can expect to take some massive penalties. What's more, server operators can set their servers to automatically kick players when they earn a set number of negative points, so you'll want to check your targets on servers with friendly fire turned on, which we expect will be almost every ranked server out there.


This is the point system where the men are separated from the boys.

BF2's ribbons are also much harder to obtain.

It is not rush into enemy either tongue.gif i have seen enough new players riding their shiny new tank into front line just to get rpg spam/c4/m15 mine in seconds.

Tank's job is the suppress the enemy while allowing soldier to match forward, both need to work together, soldiers need to match with tank to keep the rpg from touching the tank.

the problem is if the players are camping how should a tank solo or take out 7-8 soldiers with just 1 gun all at a time? tongue.gif u get RPG spam in notime and waste ur tank. In this case thats why u see the tank are waiting infront for the soldiers to support them(which look like camping), but the alone soldiers are CAMPING, so its chicken and egg

PS: if tank are way behind most soldier then its camping tongue.gif

I should have made myself clear, I mean spawn camping. In Operation firestorm you will mostly revive at the same places in A, B, C, and D. And there is more than one time that there was a tank bombarding the spawn area, especially at D behind the office.

Mhmmyeah. Maps like Seine Crossing, usually the tank leads the way and infantry is suppose to follow closely and guard the tank from getting hit by RPGs. And of course, tank driver must have thermal optics to spot mines, not some idiot driver.

Just to say in clear terms...

Suppressor/Suppress (Or commoners saying of silencer)

Flash Suppressor only removes the muzzle flash (or the light that comes out of the barrel of a gun)

Suppressor (Or Silencer , well doesn't suppress sound that good...lol) , only avoids you of being detected on the map and the enemy won't literally hear or see the direction where your shooting him.

Side note of this is , the bullet speed is slowed down and you don't have much of a damage to power ratio.

So i would only use this in close and dark places.

I think the point of mortars is providing support. not genocide. It only works in smaller maps where ppl are clustered together like grand bazaar and such. If they were to allow greater power with mortars, everyone will be using it. It's as bad as it is now.

but have to get new rig..
and need sifu's advise here..

do you recommend intel or amd processor?
Neo of Geo bro say intel i2100 can run also.. this one quite cheap.. haha..

GPU: Saphire HD6950 ok?
Memory: what's single/double/triple kit? can just use normal one?

suddenly we switched places the admin's team went to the winning team and my team switched to the losing team, f***ing stupid.

state your budget, if you want to play high settings with smooth framerate above 45fps, get i5 with GTX 560 Ti

RAM just get 8GB value RAM is enough

you can try my built at that budget.....just change HD6790 instead of HD5770
but......you have 23''inch monitor = 1920x1080
trust me.....you will need that GTX560 Ti or HD6950 to play at that resolution

@JML, hey 23 inch monitor, 6950 Dirt 3 Edition user here, i've got everything set to max(ULTRA), cept MSAA -off .
Games runs smooth as silk , though im not sure how's the FPS, but overall no lags and stuff
GTX 560 Ti has issues i've heard? especially the OC-ed ones, and what's the point if u have to downclock it to play, since 560ti is an OC card but i maybe wrong smile.gif

anyways, the fu** is up with the blooming bright blinding mfking lights everywhere!??!? creating like a layer of fogs underneath it ,i can't even see a thing gahhh
it seems that DICE decides to bloom every single lighting up sh,it
or is it just me? (on Campaign anyway) sweat.gif

just for thought, are you buying the pc for short term or long term? Do you really want to have an obsolete comp in a year or 2?

I bought mine when ati 5870 came out and the pc still rocks man biggrin.gif

Btw, conquest+metro map+machine guns = WIN (rpgs sucks wink.gif)

Seriously, I wish there was some server for newbie like me. The imbalance between teams is just retarded. On one team you have all the pro players, and on the other team are all the newbie. The good ones leave because there's no balance between the team, so left us newbie there. And halfway through a round our team starts shrinking as everyone leaves doh.gif

In fact, there was a round where someone from the other winning team asking why they aren't balancing it out.

its not powerfull then assault weapon or engineer but the rate of fire and the ammo clip is long enough that support can continuously shoot ya head off without reloading for quite some burst

there is some newbie servers, just that you must know how to find tongue.gif there is a few TW servers, quite easy..last time I still remember I always play one server that is something like BhR, but can't find it now. That server is super easy tongue.gif
