It happens everytime you want to use with battery ?
Clean the connector ?

lee sifu, something comes into my mind. Regarding my problem, izzit possible is cpu throttling? Coz now i suddenly realise that i never monitor my cpu temperature. I always look at gpu temperature only. And recently i discovered that my gpu are hotter than before(probably my thermal paste not working well ady), and even before i change the thermal paste the cpu ady like 90+.

@htpkevin, CPU throttling shouldn't prevent the notebook from shutting down..
Thermal paste should last longer than that laugh.gif
*
nono sifu, the cpu throttling one i'm refering to hang when i game xD. And my thermal paste seems expired or what ady one, it comes and it seems strange one. But one thing, when i started applied it, its lke 73C if i run folding@home. Now if i run folding@home, its like 77 to 78C. Even higher than stock which is 75C. So i'm thinking whether its cpu throttling that cause my game to hang/freezes

and how do u access the event viewer blush.gif

How did you do the paste?

Just type event viewer on start menu.
*
nono, the problem is the paste. The paste is not like normal paste like that. Its like much hardened ady. Its like plasticine we used to stick our notes to the wall like that ady.

Thanks.

i know it may be subjective, but what about...

i7 + 1gb of same GPU

VS

i5 + 2gb of same GPU

Concern --> gaming + multimedia usage.

from a layman like me, for gaming.. gpu > cpu but i may be wrong  shakehead.gif
*
lol, ok, for GPU wise, we don compare the gpu by its memory, its not like a GPU with 2gb memory is better than 1gb memory GPU. It depends on a lot more factor like the bus speed and everything. For this case, lenovo's GT555M are weaker version of gt555m if compared to Nx5SF series one(iirc lenovo one has 96 cores compared to 144 cores in Nx5SF). For CPU wise, like duckies said, u have to ask yourself. Do u really need that processing power? Do u often do coding, video rendering and stuff? If just for gaming + multimedia usage in this case, i would say u go for Nx5SF(i5 + 2gb GT555M). Since gaming wise this gt555m is better than lenovo's. Then i5 for gaming and multimedia usage is enough.

P.S the memory of GPU helps in multi display. If 2gb one it can multi display better than a 1gb GPU.

Hope this help xD

By just multi display, you don't need that much of VRAM.
But when you start playing games on high resolution (like 2560x1600) and with ultra high texture, then you will need more than that. But the problem is, can your notebook play the games at that settings? laugh.gif
