Hie all i'm a newbie in Low yat forum, but i find that this forum is really interesting and i would really like to know more about my laptop
N55 i-5 750gb -> bought only yesterday still very fresh

Would really need to ask if there is a working torrent out there which i could install high performance games? Eg, skyrim? MW3?

I tried downloading left 4 dead 2 and i think i messed up my laptop, after trying to install the game, i've been given bluescreen and it happens quite often. Need help =(

My solution is to do a full reformat, but

How do i do a full reformat if i back up in iso format? Can i burn it back into dvds and it will work the same?

Even I sometime have problem with connecting to wifi network.
In my faculty,where there is not so many ppl connecting to the net at the same time,it connects flawlessly.

But when im in my dorm,most of the time i nedd to WAIT until 11.30pm to get internet connection!

and the strangest part is that my roomates can easily get a connection right after booting up....

2. or try the troubleshoot guide from the network and sharing center .. just select what type of problem u need for assists and follow the instruction/queries?? sometimes it might help u to restore the default settings..

I believe u should bring it back to Asus service centre.My netbook was previously the same as u.Can use LAN but not wireless.Turns out the network card got problem.

Not sure if this is applicable to your problem, but perhaps you can try to manually set the DNS on your laptop.

Been using my n55(i5) for one whole month now. Really love it a lot but I'm kinda sad because it outperforms my desktop in terms of graphics.
Wanna ask all the sifus here though, is it normal for the n55 processor to be at near 90c in game?
I tried Black Ops with high settings and also l4d2. No lags or crashes but the temp kinda worries me.

Just finished Need for Speed The Run.Amazed by the graphics and Frostbite engine.The sun glare,the details,sandstorms,the way u can interact with things on the street (lamp post,vase,pole and etc).But the game is quite short given that NFS series usually is quite long.It just took me a day to finish it.And why they even put in action sequence Somehow the story and plot is a bit weak and less elaboration.Additionally,there isnt much racing mode inside.It's either gain position race (by winning ur opponents),checkpoint racing or defeat ur opponent by leading him/her for a certain of time.Kinda amazed and disappointed at the same time.

Check if ur running on Windows IP. Happened to me alot during windows vista time.
The only way is to run diagnostic to reset the windows IP.
The reason it happen is ur laptop is unable to retrieve IP address from the router nuff said.

Around 6-8 hours with rest time,lunch and dinner break.The game is short.Not that I am fast lol!

ya true nfs the run really short. somemore not challenging as last time. this nfs the run kinda easy actually >.<

but when i run the diagnostic it ask me to on oand off the router,the thing is this is uni wifi so i cant possibly do that.

so weirdla,my roomate has the a43sv sandy bridge version which has the exact same wifi adapter,but can easilty connect to the net in my hostel.
