Hey sifu,

Welcome me to the house!

New user of N55sl(i5) here thumbup.gif

i have a question, is backup necessary? was planning to do it after i do a fresh install since got so many programs i dont use(i still a newbie also at reformatting, wanting to learn and im cheap, dont wanna waste my dvd hahaha)

I put in the driver disc all of them already installed.
Is the steps to reformat in 1st page updated?
Are drivers for n55sf the same with n55sl?

Hey guys, I am using N55SF, my FN key and Window Key is not responding. I noticed some of you tried to uninstall and reinstall the ATK file.

I done it, several times. Is there any other solutions?

Every user of n55sl face this problem, it is because of the conflict between nvdia 635m graphic and skype, the way to fully solve this problem is wait for the latest update from nvdia, but what can we do now is only downgrade your graphic driver to the 2011 version which is the centre one in asus website http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLan...N55SL&p=3&s=352, then install your skype again, everything will be fine. smile.gif

Dear N55SF users:

Can anyone share your "color management" : "Device" and "advanced" setting here?

I think my gf's sister's colour was messed up after installation of Adobe CS3, original version. ==''

Any Sifu can teach how to reset back? Thanks.

Anyone here knows how to set the bios password?

I've been exploring the BIOS for setting to set the password so that it request for password before booting windows, but I still can't find the option. Just only can set "administrator" password, which only request if I want to get into the BIOS.

Hi skyline100, try setting the user password, that should set the password request to prompt when you boot your computer. smile.gif
