I just came back from the Asus Service Center , the person told me that not my adapter problem , is the plug that i use got problem , ask me to try at another plug and test it .

For the warranty , Laptop, Adapter, Sub-woofer is 2 years warranty , and for the battery is only 1 year warranty . 

Guys, seem like the Number 1 key on my laptop is a bit stuck.
is that covered in the warranty?

My CPU overheats badly after updating the BIOS.
When I play Battlefield 3, it hikes up to 95C and I'm worried now

I have installed the latest drivers and there is not any problem.

what i found is GPU temp normally higher than CPU temp .. 

My network adapter is having problem. Cannot deteCt the Wifi Internet.
I had tried many times restart my laptop and modem.
It's still the same. My iPhone iPad and my bro Sony laptop all no problem.
I also reinstalled the driver but stil the same.
Help!! =(

Yea the computer cannot detect any wifi. Usually there is some wifi name from the  neighbor, now only LAN network can see.

But I think not the router problem because other devices (iphone, ipad, my bro laptop)working fine.
Sigh.

I think re factory setting is the last thing I can do.
If still cannot really have to send in to factory d.

Anyway,here's a piece of information from me since I'm quite free now

Core i5 or i7?Ask urself.Do u really need the hyper threading?Core i5 is powerful enough to handle daily common task such as browsing or running Full HD videos.The hyper threading helps in various applications such as Matlab,VMWare,Autocad,Photoshop,Winzip,Winrar,Video decoding/encoding and a lot more.Nonetheless,the difference between 2 of them in terms of gaming is very minimal.U have to fork out around 800 bucks more for the core i7 and blue ray drive.If it's useful to u and u think it's worth,then Core i7 is the answer.

As for build material,u have to go and feel it urself.It's hard to describe in words  Nvidia GT 555M is good enough to handle current games.It can play Battlefield 3,Modern Warfare 3,L.A Noire,Rage,Skyrim,Saint Row 3,Need for Speed The Run at medium-high settings.

One thing u should take note.N55SF core i5 comes in HD+ resolutions with matte screen (1600 x 900) while the rest comes in HD resolutions (1366 x 768) with glossy screen?

The sub-woofer is great in my opinion.Unless u wanna compare it with 2.1 or 5.1 speakers.It's portable and it gives good base.

As for the weight,it's kinda heavy for N55SF so it's not good for portability.Btw,it comes with 2 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0,which means 4 USB ports.This should be sufficient for ur devices.

There is only 1 verdict besides all these good points.The cover lid.It's so fingerprint and dust magnet and easy to get scratched.

Conclusion, for plus minus 2.7k,u get Nvidia GT 555M,Intel Core i5,free sub-woofer and 4 USB ports.I can say it's pretty much worth it 

Basically if you don't mind the weaker GPU and no tin coke, the Y570 has good value as well..

No idea.I full format my notebook the moment I got it so I never realised got such file existed.

for me.. no tin coke no life! hahahaha...

actually i found it from the "tune up utilities" during optimizing my system .. something like .. "couldnt find file location and can be remove" .. will clean format after system kaboomm!!! hehehe..

unfortunately i ve uninstalled the tuneUp utilities after that due to cannot activate the splendid utilities from the shortcut key... got error! something like "chameleon drive not found!! " but i managed to solve it by reinstall the splendid app again..

one good about tune up is.. when i activate to economy battery saving in the tuneup utilities + asus power4gear battery saving. 1st time my battery life shows 4 hours ++ .. and indeed it is "stable" after tried for 2 hours! ...  indicated half battery only!..  i couldnt continue to examine to the mAx hours cos "got to go"... hehehe..
