I guess so,
can you open device manager, go to that HDD, open its properties, and change to quick removal ?

@htpkevin, CPU throttling shouldn't prevent the notebook from shutting down..
Thermal paste should last longer than that |

Not really say it failed, could be something is using the HDD, hence the slower access time..

Still consistent the access time...
Could only think of to turn off APM, might reduce the access time.. |

QUOTE(ChipZ @ Nov 17 2011, 12:13 AM) Hi users, I am planning to get a new laptop soon and would like to ask whats the difference between N43/N53S series and N45/N55S series? N45/N55, better GPU, better speaker, different design.N53Sn, has 4 slot ram. QUOTE(ascend @ Nov 17 2011, 10:27 AM) hi guys..N55 series don't come in Full HD 1080p? their november/december 2011 brochure shows the display is 1366x768. N55 Core i5 = 1600x900, Core i7 1366x768.QUOTE(ascend @ Nov 17 2011, 10:50 AM) well hope they would release a 1080p N series soon - under RM3500. Very few mainstream 15inch laptops have FHD - Sony comes to mind. You can take a look at MSI GE620DX-FHD, similar spec with N55SF, but with 1080p screen. |
