By the way I didn't hear any warranty extension package from the laptop seller. cry.gif Where did you get that?
But I know you can buy the extra warranty from Asus. drool.gif
The display is in Full HD and it's stunningly perfect!!! rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

Flawless. Besides there are still too many bloatwares inside and this obviously increase the boot up time.
Again, the display is thumbup.gif laugh.gif

ya oil rush i also crash. But if i pull it down to 630MHz only so far so good no crash xD
*
htpkevin, it seems you are right...i played skyrim and oil rush and no usuall freezing which can only be solved by shutting down.

unfortunately or perhaps fortunately, now the crash is reduce to CTD. which is better, but perhaps its just because of the game, or high use of graphic, e.g : when i'm fighting a dragon in the middle of a blizzard.but else...seems a'ok.

which means, either a driver is really weighing the VGA or the power supply is not enough.

whats CTD sweat.gif ? lol i really dunno that. Well another thing i thought of is, coz by right GT555M default clock is around 575Mhz, so when we got our laptop its 675Mhz. So we can say its been OC-ed 100Mhz by Asus. And well in Overclocking no chips are the same, some can perform better than others. We probably can just say our chip are not as good as others lol.

CTD = Crash To Desktop

nice thinking..just hope it didnt become a recurring incident, which can only be solved by repeatedly lowering the clock speed. hmm.gif doh.gif

hey guys, this might be posted before, but anyways:

if you're facing lags in some of the in-game movies or while playing a game, do this:

go to your nvidia control panel->manage 3d settings->under global settings, choose high-performance nvidia processor as your preferred graphics processor.

prob solved...everything is smooth now. no more lags. smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

bt the temp do get a lil bit higher than usual sad.gif

Anything I should know about Asus N55SF-S1515V before buying it this weekend? Looks like a solid laptop with high temperature at times.

Hey, for N45sf, I am facing some problem when uninstalling program. After the windows restart, it takes looonger time to start up and have a personalizing window box before entering to desktop.

Anyone tried play NFS RUN? My N55SF suffers lagness in the game with either graphic driver 285.62 or 290.53. The game seems not running smoothly even with low game setting or low resolution inside. GT555M should meet the game requirement and can run it smoothly, isn't it? All other games no problem so far. I dunno how much the FPS rate for the game yet. Btw, what's the software used to measure game FPS?

FRAPS or MSI Afterburner works fine.
