hi guys..
my turbo boost stop working!.. how to re-run it?

found that my bus speed is only 100mhz.. turbo boost monitor idle without moving bar.. msconfig boot shows 2 processors only instead of 4 before.. power plan without min n max state setting in processor power management.. ive tried to restart it from the admnistrative tools > service > intel turbo.. also no changes.. did triy to re-flash BIOS but failed!.. any way? rclxub.gif doh.gif

Download Intel Burn Test and run a 1 threaded test.

use CoreTemp or ThrottleStop to monitor your processor frequency.

Why u have IntelTurbo service? hmm.gif

try use ThrottleStop 4.0 to force TurboBoost. tongue.gif

or go to Start Menu and type Power Options. Click Change Plan Settings for your current Power Scheme, and then click "Change Advanced Power Settings.

Can't set Maximum Processor State to 100% in there?

Tick Set Multiplier, set Multiplier to Turbo and click Turn On at bottom right of the window.

Maybe Asus Power4Gear disable them. hmm.gif

Open regedit and search for these 2 keys.

1. 893dee8e-2bef-41e0-89c6-b55d0929964c
2. bc5038f7-23e0-4960-96da-33abaf5935ec

Do you have them both?

alamaks.. sorry.. i cant hardly wait n in procese of reformatting the OS.. now using my cousins lappy online while waiting it finish.. thanks for you help.. i appreciated it... if still not solve i will get back to u.. smile.gif

is it normal the system keep on auto restarting the windows while configuring the system for so many times... seems like it wont let me choose to restart later..???

lol, skyrim is really awesome. I can play with high settings no problem with 285.79 nvidia driver.

HWMonitor would only show the nVidia after the nVIdia is ON, you open HWMonitor.

Don't change that option in MsConfig.
