QUOTE(lunchtime @ Oct 23 2014, 08:33 AM) What is the differemce in quality and detail between CW, HM, and EM? For sure EM is make by plastic not die-cast.I know huge difference in price, how to justify the price difference? That why the price is very low, and the aircraft load-out is few or empty, not missile and bomb on most of their aircraft. (Except their F-14 product is full load-out) |

QUOTE(lunchtime @ Oct 23 2014, 10:06 AM) Understand on EM being plastic. Airfix, Tamiya are plastic too. How about detailing compare to diecast? Juz material problem, cuz diecast is more value for sure.As for CW and HM, both are diecast, ain't it? how to justify the huge price difference ? Especially on the F14s. Sorry for the many questions, not to familiar with the offerings on the table. About detailing, plastic also can do very detail, but not so value anyway. Diecast sure is better, but sometime detail not so good. Ya, CW and HM is make in diecast. But for CW and HM, detailing sure is CW win. If you want to collect F-14, better collect CW brands, can refer back some photo, the detail is great for sure. BTW, EM is already assembled complete model, juz like CW and HM did. |

QUOTE(limfreelance @ Oct 23 2014, 12:33 PM) wonder how big the size box for easy model f15? I will try to take photo if it easy to take out and put back into box,can provide the measurement. The F15 look well paint. can take any close up photo. no space, 1/72 su 33 length around 13". so, no choice, i order 1/144 plastic kit for su-27, su-33, & su 34...& a J15 egg plane. cuz I didn't have space to put all my models for while. Still waiting my new cabinet. Ya, EM F-15E look nice last night I check. |

Try take out my aircraft last night, here come my sharing~~
Let start from EasyModel product. I must say if you want cheap aircraft, and not serious collector, EM is a choice. But most EM aircraft no pilot, no load-out (missile, bomb etc.), cockpit can't open, can't adjustment, and light weight plastic. The good is at least the paint acceptable that all. Here come GainCorp product~~
All I can say is really nice. Diecast make for sure. Detailing is good as HM or better. Even the aircraft stand also make by diecast metal. Worth the price anyway. OK, lets have a look then.
