no need sweat first ya. at first glance it looks awesome. it only reveals its paintwork flaws upon closer inspection... uneven layers on the missiles, unrefined canopy lining, incomplete painting at the exhaust etc. if you had the skills to touch-up this model, it'll be excellent! it doesn't require panel lining enhancement though... otherwise i would've found my perfect lab rat.

Is ok anyway, nvm.
Juz now I plan to change my order asap to FOV F-4J for try, but think about I didn't really love F-4J,
So I give up still order this F-14A anyway. At least is my childhood favorite plane and have a 1st experience on FOV.

Hi guys, where did you order your diecast models from?
*
Try Diecast Empire first below link:
http://www.diecast-empire.com/index.asp
And actually we already discuss many times of where order.
If you really interest on diecast models, please refer back the thread sure will find out where to order.
And please do Google searching before asking, and sure can order a lot at Taobao and Ebay. Up to you.
http://sea.taobao.com/
http://www.ebay.com.my/
By the way do order yourself and don't ask how to order, learn yourself ya.
Good Luck then. smile.gif

Strikermac,

I'm just asking where to order (prefer local shop as to prevent international shipping hassles). I didn't asked how to click on website. You have the option not to reply if not happy/feel that people are not up to standard. I suggest that mod/staff pint at the front page all the critical info (good example is Gundam forum) to prevent re-asking by new collector.

Ok, I see. Sorry then, misunderstanding. notworthy.gif

it had to happen someday...

package arrived apparently nib. only realised something amiss when i started assembling the model. firstly, there were two left rear landing gears! so i thought well, tough luck... lousy qc on the part of the manufacturer. i could always display the model in flight mode. took out the three-piece display stand and it was then that i discovered, to my horror, that the stand assembly was defective! omg... the connector and the base had a slight hint of yellowish aging but the stand was clear transparent, as if a replacement for the original. and the worse part is a small part of the stand was broken! dilemma dilemma dilemma... can't display it on ground neither can i display it in flight mode. fov is turning out to be a gamble. the f-14 had issues but the f/a-18 was fantastic. and to be honest, if not for the above issues, the f-15 would've been awesome also. anyway, i've already contacted the reseller and sure hope it's a manufacturer issue rather than the reseller passing off a used/damaged model as nib. hope he gets things sorted out otherwise i'll let you guys know who the reseller is...
*
I see.
Actually my HM F-22A also got some issue, so I juz take some photo at some angle.
So sad sometime seen is a well know brand, but the QC not very good as it must. sad.gif
Everything made in "C" country, price drop a little but QC was not so good...
