Managed to find some old Dragon warbirds at www.cyber-hobby.com. Ordered myself a F14 and F15 each. Price incl shipment for both is around rm300. Pretty decent pricing. Also got a Hobby Master F16 from Jumblies.

Dragon warbird series are not bad , just lack of weapons. I have 2 f-18 super hornet from dragon , loving it.
By the way toypanic is selling HM F-4,F-16 and F-18 .

Yeah, Dragon mostly are light on weapons but you can always buy the additional weapon packs but not sure on whether they can be installed easily and you will need to make sure you buy the right missiles....

Thanks for sharing the toypanic sales.....prices are pretty decent... smile.gif

The Detolf is cheap n good but dem heavy....4 sided glass
My only complain is that the individual shelf height is kinda high and hence the waste of space

Ikea used to have another model .... 3 sided glass with wooden backing and the cornering is also wood. At least I managed to create more shelves but inserting more levels...too bad they don sell these anymore

I have 3 detolf cabinets and 1 of the wood+glass cabinet.....soon I will need to pack all my models in the boxes liao......

songcm, I made some arcylic boxes and managed to add another layer in between the shelf. So instead of 4 layers, I can possibly have 8 layers. Had one done last week, maybe going to do a couple more this weekend.

Sorry, didn't realized the attachments didn't work the first time round. Sorry for the pictures which are sideways..... not sure why but even if I rotate the pictures and re-saved, they still appear sideways.

Yes, glued the arcylic panels together using adhesive. The arcylic panels were actually leftover from my brother's architecture projects. These panels are harder to find i.e. they are not available at normal stationery shops. You have to go to those shops specializing in arts materials especially those that sells materials for architecture models.
Currently working on converting one of my wall mounted cabinet to display aircraft models. Still long way to go smile.gif

Actually, hornetEJ gave us a very good idea. Buy Detolf, later add arcylic panels into the Detolf. Then from "original" Detolf 4 shelves, into "sendiri bikin Detolf" 8 shelves... rclxms.gif
