Mine was ordered on 26th and shipped on 30th. I was in KL since 15th, just got back to Penang today and saw a pos notice that came on 15th but it could be from HLJ and not Jumblies. Will let u know tmrw....

Not too sure abt EMS shipping from Jumblies as I hv been using the normal one and they will arrive around 12-18 days.

Hi songcm,

many thanks for the heads-up. needs to be more patience then... smile.gif

Hey, got my F4 from Jumblies today. The postman just threw the package into my porch and my dog did end up chewing the side of the box. Luckily the inner packaging still intact....

Got mine also yesterday tongue.gif

Only managed to 'appreciate' 2 aircrafts of 4. I think Jumblies Models is OK, will get more from them...

Happy holidays to all...

As this is the first time purchasing from Jumblies Models, really dunno what to expect from them lo...

Bought 4 HM models, in 2 different purchase due to the "on sale" pricing is within my budget.
Got me; F-22, F/A-18, F-4 and F-16

Only got to assemble the Raptor and Phantom II last night... very new to this diecast thingy sweat.gif

good choice.....which F16 did u get? The F16 Aviano?
Yeah, better split them as he shipment is cheaper or 2kg and below and also you don want Kastam to tax you for more than RM500 shipment.

What about F14 and F15? Too bad HM don have them. You can consider Sky Guardians for this?

Check out www.lacorun.com as well. Sometimes their pricing cld be better but fastershipment (less than 2 weeks)

Hi songcm,

You are correct, bought the Aviano, too bad the canopy misaligned with the fuselage when closed! Have to display it in wheeled mode with the canopy opened!

We got the same Phantom! rclxms.gif

Bought Sky Guardians Su-27 Flanker and just ordered a Fulcrum before Xmas from lacorun. For my 2sen comments regarding the Su-27, its heavy, huge & solidly built but with minor QC issues. The panel lines are too light (clean?) for my liking, nevertheless, its a very beatiful aircraft. Witnessed the Su-30MKM during TUDM 2012 open day. Blown away with its maneuverability.

Not too sure about Sky Guardians F-14 and F-15 though. Im very new to this hobby. Needs your further input, since you are a veteran in diecast collection.
Its good to have few pointers from people who owns such a huge collection. brows.gif

The Detolf is cheap n good but dem heavy....4 sided glass
My only complain is that the individual shelf height is kinda high and hence the waste of space

Ikea used to have another model .... 3 sided glass with wooden backing and the cornering is also wood. At least I managed to create more shelves but inserting more levels...too bad they don sell these anymore

I have 3 detolf cabinets and 1 of the wood+glass cabinet.....soon I will need to pack all my models in the boxes liao......
*
Hi songcm,

Thank you for your valuable inputs. Will also look see look see @ local furniture shops... but most likely will get the Detolf lo, affordable ma laugh.gif

Why la pack your models into boxes, so sad... tongue.gif

Yes, glued the arcylic panels together using adhesive. The arcylic panels were actually leftover from my brother's architecture projects. These panels are harder to find i.e. they are not available at normal stationery shops. You have to go to those shops specializing in arts materials especially those that sells materials for architecture models.
Currently working on converting one of my wall mounted cabinet to display aircraft models. Still long way to go smile.gif
*
Actually, hornetEJ gave us a very good idea. Buy Detolf, later add arcylic panels into the Detolf. Then from "original" Detolf 4 shelves, into "sendiri bikin Detolf" 8 shelves... rclxms.gif

Luckily no further discount on Aviano as I just ordered them last weekend.

Need to pack them up becoz I am leaving the country soon....dunno if I am going to ship them as well.....might have a lelong later..... smile.gif
*
Not getting the Tornado, but might get Tornado from Corgi cos never own any corgi built diecast.
Ordered 1 Harrier disbandment scheme.

Ok, put me on your list for each mould and especially the F-14 and F-15!

Only got 1 FAC MiG-29. For rm29.90, cant expect too much lo tongue.gif
The Harrier is almost 1/2 the size of a F-22A, much smaller next to a Su-27.

BTW, very nice la your cabinets!!! drool.gif

Big bro songcm, most of us (ok, me la) are struggling to collect each mould model, whereas you started to collect the same mould but with different livery liao. notworthy.gif

Btw, started another project, dismantling some FAC jets, and used the metal diecast parts as fridge magnets... Quite nice leh... tongue.gif

Dats cheap.... Is this Hobby Master?
I ardy have too many F/A 18 plus not my fav jet. Am thinking of getting F15E and SU27 from Lacorun....

Ya, its a Hobby Master F/A-18C Hornet.
Me too bought Su-27 from Lacorun, prompt delivery from them! The Sukhoi quality is OK except needs some glue to keep the ordnance in place... Order the stand as well lo... tongue.gif
