There are quite a number of places around Klang Valley that has model plastic kits.

The one I recently visited:
-SS2 Mall (it's a stall on the G or 1st floor)

Toy City does carry it too. There is one in Sunway and MV.

I dunno Tamiya Underground carries any aircraft kits.

There are other shops as well but I just cannot recall them atm. Btw, do check out the list of shops that the mods have compile here...

Go online.
Try this site, they have decent pricing for Hasegawa kits and their shipment cost is decent too

Usually paint as you assemble is the way to go. Do check here for more painting advise... I was more keen in assembling the many many years ago when I was into it...

1:48 is still huge. Normally for F14, start with 1:72 first. Then work on your 1:48 once you are more experienced.
I saw some glue and paint in Tamiya Underground in 1 Utama.

I used to mostly glue first and then paint. Both brush n spray paint has adv but generally spray paint is smoother. I just bought a spray gun but too lazy to assemble nowadays. Have moved to diecasts.

i usually would buy my model kit locally... you can find a good shop at Fraser Business Park near Jalan Pasar.. Hobby HQ...

i would look there first before venturing to ebay.. but anyway good luck with you F-14.. glad to hear someone starting this hobby as well...

remember to post your build biggrin.gif
