Just a thought guys, we have to start revising the style of posting here. smile.gif Posting up Speedtest results is not the way to keep this thread alive.

Just to let you all know one result is approx 32.9kB. Imagine if you post more than 5? smile.gif The page starts to load slowly.

We have to start posting smartly. Thanks for your attention. You see, these days I don't post up Speedtest result that often anymore.

And just to let you guys know, Speedtest results aren't accurate and not exactly the best tool to measure your speed. The real result is shown by your file downloading speed.

Have a nice day!

Guys, I'm sorry if I sound too harsh in my previous reply. smile.gif Of course, not that I don't allow you guys to post out. But at least not the whole page with 25 posts are loaded with these results. Probably not really that wise. smile.gif

Not to worry, I'm not that strict one. biggrin.gif

Oh yea, the lady followed up again via Twitter while I was sleeping just now. She asked if I still face with the same problem. Just tried and the problem is still happening. Gonna reply to her soon.

KKW: Have you tried reporting as well? smile.gif

Guys,

just now i discover something , may be some of you know it already,..

since fruitie encounter the NDIS and RAS issue, i been trying to find out what is the different,

well, after just now my both E1762 and E270 modem is not working again ( stuck at 3G sad.gif ) then i plug my SE W705 direct into my win 7 ultimate pc, and then there is 2 choice,. one is normal dial up,.. and the other is auto connect through ethernet emulation NDIS..

so if i am not wrong,. if u select under USB setting -> usb mode, phone as modem ( for OLD SE OS phone ). u will connect through Local Area Connection ( sony Ericsson Device 1018 USB Ethernet EMulation ( NDIS 5 ) instead of normal one ( Sony Ericsson Device 1018 USB WMC modem mode..

NDIS = ethernet / local area connection ( much smooth and consistent connection )

RAS = WMC modem ( dial up modem and very unconsistent )..

guess if those of you who use SE phone or E1762,.. best connnection is select NDIS. if is not working well for you, then RAS / WMC modem is your choices,..

just though of sharing to those who dont know,.. notworthy.gif

did attach screenshot, for those who dont understand,.

i personally try both, NDIS / WMC modem ( RAS )

NDIS is much better and consistent,.. ( auto running up to max speed )

and RAS/ WMC modem = kind of like dial up mode,.. unconsistent,. ( can be up and down not stable )

that's why my nokia so high speed, i think nokia is NDIS modem only

Yeah, after reflashed, I can't use NDIS anymore. laugh.gif
I ran speed test also around 2-4Mbps but when I used direct download, it achieved more than 1MBps. D:
