the normal way i learn is from digilife,. install ASUS AI CHARGER

can download from here

install it and it will ask u to restart,. thenyour usb power will be amplify high enough so u can charge ipad,..

then get yourself those cable like 2 male + 1 female  USB cable,.. plug in your 2100MHz modem in and use the MDMA Beta 10 to play with band config,
if your power is enough to amplify the 2100 Modem, it will automatic connect to 2100MHz HSPA tower,..

if your modem is stuck at 2100MHz 3G tower instead meaning power is not enough,..

as we all know normally when modem try to save power it will auto jump to 3G tower,..
conclusion = more power = more performances,..   notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

correct me if i am wrong,..  hmm.gif

hmm.. sounds good. what about for 3G routers? I'm supposed we can use the 2 male + 1 female USB cable as well. One male plug to 3G router another to a USB power plug. Anyone can try it out? brows.gif

well, it all depends to the needs and $$$. most people will prefer newer products if the price is right.

one guy selling E182e at RM159 but the thread is more than 6 months old. Not sure still available or not. If still have, might be able to get it at stock clearing price.. tongue.gif

Just want to share that I finally able to host my IP Cameras using this plan. As we all know that most of Maxis connections usually gets private IPs, upon a request to Maxis, you can activate public IPs for your account and then change your APN to unetp.

I just got mine activated yesterday and still doing a lot of testing on it. Right now, I already have VNC and IPCam setup via Maxis connection. I have yet to determine if there is any difference in terms of speed or not. My house signal coverage aren't that great to allow me to achieve optimum speed.

Nice! Did you apply by phone or go to the center? I was thinking of setting up IPCam but with private IP's, its useless....

I've done it over the phone. In case some of the CS doesn't know about it, ask them to forward to the data team.
