Currently i still haven't receive official info about the pricing, but it should be above 300 a little bit, since it uses PBT keycap.

if you're willing to wait, there's more and more mech keyboard coming out, there's a few coming out which has backlit, plus bluetooth function to pair with laptop and PC and tablet as well as phone, which able to pair up to 4 or more device. and wireless mode.

There's a concept keyboard being release in Taiwan last year, i think they are still fixing and refining, i'll give more info when the design is final.

Currently, i only saw 2 type of switch being used in concept, Red and Black switch, it is highly possible that they will offer 4 types, which is black, brown, blue, and red. but still haven't been confirmed.

i don't particularly looking forward for backlit stuff, and about transparent keycap being rare. I mean for now.

Since those thing are slowly growing in this market and getting more and more common, why pay premium just because the stuff is rare for now, and slowly getting common and cheap in future.(example : keyboard with backlit)

Well, it's just my point of view thou. Because sooner or later, modding will be getting common and easier with guides and stuff. and KBC keep pumping out all kinds of keycap and going on for further mass production.

For me, i'll sit and cross my finger, and wait for the ultimate keycap that is suitable for backlit.(i don't want the current transparent keycap with coating seriously >_>, They don't last long in my usage. )

mostly will sweat after 10~20 minutes using the keyboard.

if that's the case, you would already master the way of touch typing without touching the keyboard.
main point is, most of the mechanical keyboard has already provided the small nubs on F and J and 5. you can just use that instead for mastering hand position.

Before i type, my hand would always put into position first.(left hand index finger touching F nubs, and right hand index finger touching J nubs)
This is probably the best way for beginners to start learning touch typing. Because i do remember some users did pm me and said this.

mastering hand positions first would probably be leading you have learn touch typing easier.

Umm, yeah, backlit can help you locating the keyboard position faster and easier, provided you need to look at the keyboard.

If you mastered hand positioning, you will be able to locate hand position faster without having to look at the keyboard.

For the left side of the keyboard, just use it FPS game style, LOL. since i believe most people that play FPS game will have no problem remembering the keys of each command. WASD E R V G T Y Q and etc, since they so pro at gaming to remember all the command, why not spend a little time, to know what are they typing to input command?

or Dota, so pro at hero, know which key is to use which skill, why not build typing skill based on the knowledge on the key that familiar with.

*sarcastic mode on* why they never click wrong key in gaming?

Personally, i wouldn't recommend local cc to have mechanical keyboard. unless it's VIP room has those keyboard.

Cons
1.Cost (Mechanical Keyboard are kinda expensive, 1 mech keyboard = 5~20 branded/chap ayam keyboard.)
2.they are not water proof, And Most Customer in CC Drinks while playing. So it's a big NO-NO. because water spilling on mech keyboard basically kills the keyboard.
3.leads to Thieves.(pull keycap, steal keycap, or even stealing switch or parts inside and breaking the keyboard, if there's no CCTV)

Pros
1.Durability, Mechanical keyboard are durable and able to withstand a lot of players usage, performance wise will not degrade over time.
2.Cost effective, although mech keyboard are expensive, switch failure would only require switch to be replace which only cost few ringgit rather then spending RM20~40 to purchase another keyboard.(provided you can self repair the keyboard on your own)
3.Better keyboard for serious gamers.

Well, the Grey color, it's a dark grey i think, but i'll explain more when i get the sample.
and yes, i would reconfirm with you guys that the new FC700 Tenkeyless model Keyboard will be using PBT Keycap which features thick Keycap (1.3mm thickness, which is the thickest keycap, should be the same thickness of old classic PBT Cherry Keycap or thicker).
Yet, it's all just empty talk for now until i receive a working sample to confirm it, so please bear with me, everyone.

Btw, i have receive Cherry Doubleshot from Taobao this morning, 6 sets of it, as you all know, the keycap condition are used, and require sanding.
I spend 4 hours in afternoon sanding one set of it and proceed to install O-rings on the cherry doubleshot, and then put it on my FC200R Tenkeyless model.
Damn, it's good, doubleshot keycap with o-ring is good man.(o-rings are from kaiserreich)

For CTRL, ALT, Capslock, and Scroll Lock.
1.(Capslock stem position not same)
2.(CTRL, ALT are 1.5x Modifier, and my keyboard CTRL are 1.25x Modifier, so they can't fit)
3.(Scroll Lock, i need the windowed key for the LED light to pass thru, xD )

P.S : My camera suck, sorry about it.

Cherry have alot of keyboard layout and not limited to only one, the Keycap that i manage to purchase are G80-1000 series Doubleshot. If you interested in looking their layout, check out Realforce keyboard they have similar layout as well.

Yet, i purchase 6 set of them, thinking about keeping 2~3 sets, and sell another 3, sanding service will be up to customer to decide thou. i recommend they do it themselves LOL, i wanna cry when i'm sanding it myself, lol


For me, i prefer the 1.5x modifier layout, it makes life easier for pressing CTRL and ALT easier, since i never use those windows key. =X

well, yeah. for the keys that i harvested, all are doubleshot, including capslock, but there's no led window on them thou. the problem for capslock is that the stem position are not the same.

use sand paper to smooth the surface.

i installed all the cherry doubleshot on FC500R plus with the O-ring, works very nice.

@Human10, let me just reconfirm that for you, the spacebar couldn't fit on your razer blackwidow, mainly because.. it's a 7x modifier Spacebar, Razer is spacebar are the same as filco and others, which is 6X modifier.

For rough Explaination,(sorry, i don't have camera for now)
Blackwidow Spacebar length "X" Key to "<" Key.
Cherry DS Spacebar Length "X" Key to ">" Key.

i think you should go and have a look, too many picture to re-post to here, plus the picture showed are in order because the guy was doing modding and explaining the same time, i do recommend you to register a account there for future peeking for new poison.

For anyone that are interested with the gold metal keycap, it's from MKC which is still Zinc alloy Keycap. >_>

anyway, here's a clear picture of FC700 White. Beware of the large picture size. For the membrane cover, i think it's included. =X

As for why i didn't post picture about the Grey version, it is because the picture taken has different contrast between each picture, while i'm looking at it from CRT monitor, it seems the picture contrast affect the grey color, so before i posted them, i would wait until i receive the sample to confirm the color, and then proceed to post the picture that has the closest color to the keyboard.

For the price tag, while it's not official, expecting it to be around the same or less than price tag of FC500, well, some may think "why the same price tag of FC500?", please do remember this FC700 Model uses PBT Keycap.
