Also available in the Realfoce PRO 104 in ANSI layout.

I'd love to say key alignment is not really important, after all, it is just a keyboard, but this is WTF

the price is actually OK for a mechanical keyboard with decent design, but then u jz mentioned its not fully mechanical
*
Well, the main point is that, the keycap that you purchase from 3rd party, will not be compatible with the membrane switch.

It is bad from my viewpoint for not be able to change all keycap, plus they look fugly when you could only change half of them.

DK 1008 XM is it good compare to cherry mx switch?
*
DK1008 XM is Greens Alps if i'm not wrong, Alps switch are quite good, but not sure about the keyboard, because i have no info on them.

The link you provided are Tenkeyless model CM Storm Rapidfire. it is fully mechanical and made by Costar.

QUOTE(Haruyuki @ Jan 2 2012, 04:30 AM)
Looks quite promising and some kinda blackwidow + xarmor crossbreed hybrid.

But If it's manufactured by Ione, then heh, i`ll laugh quite hard on this.

For others people that who don't understand why i would laugh, click on the spoiler.

Try PM TS.

BTW, how about the FILCO R that you hated much last time? Sold too?

Still with me. Figured since it is limited. Might as well keep it. Besides, would be good as a back-up keyboard as well.

actually it is not cheap at all considering the original price of it. (sorry, storm)

DUCKY alps are FULL anti ghosting over PS/2, and 6-keys anti ghosting over USB.

ALPS have a higher actuation point than Cherry MX switches, so maybe that would mean ALPS can actuate faster, by a few mili/micro seconds?

I'm just guessing and adding some of my opinions to it. But if you think you can tell that difference, then good luck.

In terms of mechanical key switches, it's more about key feel rather than the subjectively named performance.

It's all right, but had to tell that,
The pricing structure at Taiwan vs Malaysia (or other distributors in the world) is totally different.

Seller at Taiwan doesn't need go thru the level of distributor. While at Malaysia and other country, we distributors do the works for Ducky.

Actually those 9 series price are still consider OK, as those China seller in Taobao also price around that price.

Just that the XM model suppose to be an entry board, those the price should be more affordable to attract customers. icon_rolleyes.gif

BTW, anyone know any information on the "Taiwan White Switch"? Is it the so called "fake cherry blue" in GeekHack last time?

Strangely, ppl in China keyboard forum seems to be quite hype about it, LOL.

Here is a board:

i think these keyboard are rare and only for collectors. since they have already went EOL. and rarely seen in market. Plus the fact that it was made by "Philips" which manage to let me say "wtf!?", i consider them as collector item.

They look double shot.
Some philips comes in double shot, while some comes in pad printed.

Taiwan Whites are clicky and tactile.
Similar structure to the Blue stem, except the white plastic is glued to the stem for taiwan white.

The keyboard at taobao have problems/does not work properly. If you get it, it's only for switch and keycaps harvesting.

Well, i'm quite worry with it, since i can't find any info about it, and think it might not be original part.
