Anyone tried the Ducky Shine?

Thinking of buying the White LED version...

Can it last for 3-4 years...??

u can't expect it to last that long because something might happen in between. all u can do is take good care of it

Nobody can confirm bout it as the product not even 1 years old.

However for normal mech kb, it should be able to last more than 3 years.

For Ducky shine, if the PCB can last, the next 2 things you should be worried are worn of keycaps and die of LED.

whoa.... new poison found... the keycool version is quite tempting, but luckily it's not 104 keys... if not.... im......

The price for 104keys are roughly the same too(below RM220), thus also very poisoning.

Just that the fugly design is more than enough to kill the poison off... LOL

argh..... very hard to keep myself together to focus on one mechanical keyboard..... *virtue virtue*

i don't think the homemade keycap puller is good thou, it's still gonna damage the edge of the keycap. but it's still better than plastic Ring Key Puller, those scratches keycap badly.

It's a good choice. grab it!, but be sure to remember they have no number pad.

yeap..a ten key less...nu problem

just tried. It work perfectly well even on the weakly coated Razer bwu keycaps. B4 this I don't have any suitable tools and seems no way to pull those keycaps safety off.

the steel wire is coated soft plastic so it will not damage the keys at all. even pulling large modifiers also no problems

when I free I will post my findings on why is BWU sucky, lol...

The Quick-Fire RAPID Cherry Red, Black, Blue & Brown will arrived by next week Tuesday

Between, which you guys prefer for Black, Blue & Brown switches?

Brown switch is quite popular here since it is good for both typing and gaming as well.
Currently using brown switch

Brown/Red/Blue is really popular around.
Black, not as much. But maybe coolermaster brand name might make people buy the black switches, I'm just guessing.

Any RRP details for the Red?

Black = old choice of gaming switch(reputation built up since SS7G?)
Blue = old typist choice(reputation built up since the fall of Buckling Spring)
Brown = old balance between black and blue, AKA balance between gaming and typing(reputation built up since 1-2 years ago)
Red = new cloud of boobs gaming switch, to replace Black which sometimes deemed too stiff. Also managed to kill some brown off due to it's lighter and linearity(reputation built up this 1-1.5 years)
Clear = LOL what, the neglected one...

Based on someone's sale:
In Malaysia, most ppl take on Brown first, then Blue and lastly Black.
Most of them are still skeptical about RED, may be need wait Corsair's impact to take place?(Black by SS7G, Blue by Razer BW)
