im guessing client-server architecture like in HoN where the server sends you the map data instead of being client side like Warcraft 3

I'm playing Practice mode all the time so I have no idea but are the current achievements unlockable and does your win/loss rate increases/decreases if you play matchmaking mode?

as i said if u keep play practice mode when u want to play matchmaking ur priority of matching will be very low
so your wait time will be quite long lol..
yes it count lose / win / leave in matchmaking
exp still didnt release yet same goes to achievements

Nola I didn't try playing matchmaking on purpose.

will there also be a rating system like MMR/PSR in HoN or ArenaRating in WoW ?

it will be really good separating players of different skill range

The Win/Lost/Abandon calculation is bugged. It doesn't always register the matches played.

Not possible. The key is useless once it's been registered to a Steam account & no one will want to share out their Steam login credentials.

I just got Dota 2 beta invite from Steam. I think Steam is giving out another batch of beta keys today. And I have 2 extra invites and beta keys. I don't have friends to give out, so I can give it to anyone.
