Hi clio8v, long time never see you here~

yes, we will have speed race next weekend., this car and it setting has go through several speed races, 1 time normal japan style LC with waves champion and got 5th place in speed race with rainbow LC. and this car will be retired.

sure MS and other car share the same gear ratio:
3.5:1
3.7:1
4:1

special ration for single shaft car:
4.2:1
5:1

T1~T3 can increase the ration by changing the 12T to 8T(not official rules allowed) pinion, special coded for off road racers~
6.4:1
8.75:1
11.2:1

any large diameter rubber tyre can be stack....

1st simple method, pull with hand(experience base), the rubber become loose evenly, stack, adjustment needed to let the rubber stay on 1st layer...

2nd boil it, when it still hot, it has been soften, easy to reshape( pull), after pull, it become loose, refer 1st method...

hope this help...

Added on August 24, 2012, 2:16 pmoh...hard rock (or UVed, oil harden type) rubber cannot be pull...beware...

Time: 1pm-4pm(Qualification),4.15pm until finish final.
Format: Semi-speed(long jump)
Rules: Official Tamiya Rules(www.tamiya.com/english/mini4wd/regulation.htm)
Registration Fee: RM10(registration from 12.30pm onward)
